It's been 2 hours in the doctor's office. They had to do some tests and check out my eye to see what was wrong. I could tell Namjoon was worried; he couldn't sit still in the small chair in the corner.
Both of our ears perked up when we heard a slight knock on the door.
"Mister Min?" The male optometrist walked in with some papers.
"So, what the hell is wrong with my eye?"
The doctor clearly didn't know what to do. He wanted to say something important, but he was obviously terrified of me.
"Well... you may lose permanent sight in your right eye. We ran many tests, but we haven't found anything that could be causing the blurriness of your right eye."
-
The whole car ride home, Namjoon tried to comfort me by telling me that it's only a 50% chance that I would lose my right eye, and all different things, but I couldn't focus on him. My brain felt like it was going 100 miles an hour.
All I wanted to do was go to my room and pretend that none of this happened. I wanted to forget the words that the doctor told me. And that's exactly what I did when I got into the apartment.
I rushed up to my room, slammed the door behind me, and jumped onto my bed; my soothing bed. I didn't leave my bed for hours, I just laid awake thinking about the words of the doctor.
"My life wouldn't change too much, I would still be able to drive, make music, and many other things."
'But it would definitely suck if I did lose the sight of my right eye.'
There was a growing beam of light shining into my room from my now open bedroom door. A little head with two big bunny ears popped out from behind the door.
"Yoongi?" It was (Y/N).
I wasn't planning on answering, but this is (Y/N) we are talking about.
"Yes?"
"Jin made dinner, you should come down." She gradually moved into my room and looked around.
"I'm not going."
"Okay, is it alright if I stay in here with you? I don't want to eat either. Wow, It's been a while since I was in your room."
Her eyes looked everywhere in awe.
"I guess, but only if you tell me why you aren't eating."
She lightly shut the door behind her and walked over to my bed and sat down on the edge.
"I'm just on a diet."
I was a little shocked that she wasn't eating because of a 'diet'.
"Not eating isn't a diet! And who told you that you need to go on a diet." I instantly sat up on my bed.
"Well... no one did, but all the girls online look so skinny and the girls at my school are super pretty." She looked down at her hands in her lap.
"God (Y/N), you're pretty the way you are, sure other girls may look attractive on the outside but most of them have some nasty attitudes and personalities. Whoever actually loves you, doesn't care how you look." I had to take a breath from my ranting.
"Just like me, if I was dating you, I wouldn't care if you were the biggest woman on the planet or if you went bald. I would care for you because of your personality."
It went silent. She didn't say anything, and more time that went by, I noticed how much all of that sounded like a confession.
"You're right. I'm sorry Yoongi for trying to change myself like that."
I saw (Y/N) wipe a tear that rolled down her small face. I didn't know what to do, so I moved closer to her and hugged her.
"You should be saying sorry to Jin, he though you didn't like his cooking anymore and even bought some new cooking books." I laughed, remembering the long night when he practically broke down my door and sobbed in my arms.
"Alright, I will." A small giggle fell from her mouth.
'At least I made her laugh, but now how am I going to tell the boys about her no longer "diet".'
A sigh escaped my tired body.
'Well, she made me forget about my eye for a bit, so I'll be grateful for that.'
"Let's go eat now before Jin begins to think that I don't like his cooking either!" I got up from my bed.
Double update baby!!!!!!
