"스물"
IT WAS GETTING PRETTY LATE when Aspen decided that it was time for Taehyung and herself to head home. She was growing tired, literally and emotionally. Her social batter was drained and all she wanted was to find her way back into bed.
Everyone was sad to see them leave (besides Jimin towards Taehyung who was rather happy to see him leave, just not with Aspen) and said their goodbyes. Hugging Aspen and Taehyung goodbye.
Jimin held Aspen tight, glaring venomously at Taehyung over her shoulder. He kissed her cheek as he had done before. Taehyung just looked away, wanting to leave as quickly as possible.
So this was what jealously felt like? It tasted bitter on his tongue.
"Come on, let's go home." She murmured as she let go of Jimin, reaching out to grab Taehyung's hand, leaving him back towards the front door in the foyer.
Taehyung couldn't be any happier. He enjoyed his time with Jin, Hoseok, Yoongi, and Jungkook, but most certainly not with Jimin. His social battery was drained as well. They were both in mutual agreement that it was time for them to head off.
Aspen opened the door, revealing the world of powdery white snow that covered the ground and the snow that fell lightly from the sky. She pulled Taehyung out of the door, but before he completely did so, he caught the sight of Jimin's smiling charmingly, wickedly at him.
And then he was gone as Taehyung left out of the door, closing it behind himself.
As he stepped into the snow, it seemed to melt away around his feet, just as the snow that fell around him melted back into water and once more, he started steaming. He steamed, the water evaporated around him.
Aspen chuckled. "Come on before someone sees you." She muttered softly, her breath forming into fog in front of her, clear as a cloud.
Taehyung walked around to the passenger side of the car and got in while Aspen got into the driver's seat. He let out a sigh as he could now finally relax without the burning urge to attack that silver-haired man for even looking at Aspen the wrong way.
He leaned his head back against the back of the seat, swallowing his saliva which made his Adam's Apple, which poked prominently from his throat bob up and down.
"Are you okay? You seem stressed." Aspen asked him as she pushed the key into the keyhole, though she didn't turn it. She was awaiting Tae's answer.
He nodded. "Yes, I am fine. Just tired." His voice was soft and deep with a tired mutter. He was tired, tired of hearing what Jimin had said about her in the kitchen hours ago. It kept replaying in his head. Over and over, driving him to the brink, on the edge of snapping at the man who told him all those things about her.
