The storm before the calm

Funtime foxy had observed the message for many hours and she couldn't shake the feeling of hope it had given her. Escape! In a room like hers it was something to look forward to like it was Christmas and you had just finished cleaning up after thanksgiving. She had night vision so it wasn't dark but she still hated the dark and mostly empty room she had been stuck in for two weeks after being used to a life in a spacious and occupied pizzeria.

Ft. Foxy had sat at her little cove that contained her bed and a vanity that held various types of makeup and other things to make her look just like she does in the posters. There was a little chute that would sometimes send down things like boxes of pizza that she could eat and new makeups or more lipstick. And today that chute had sent down a little box with a note on it.

Here's a friend to help you pass the time! -will. It had said and she couldn't shake the thought that she knew this "will" and that whatever was in the box was something that may hurt her. But she figured that whoever will was ,they wouldn't hurt her. She was the most popular animatronic the company had! So she opened the box and found a small pink rabbit animatronic that had no legs. It was labeled 'Bonnet hand puppet companion' and had a power switch on it. Ft foxy flipped the switch and the small rabbit powered on in an instant.

" Why hello there! I'm bonnet, the female counterpart to bon bon but don't worry about that. I'm here to keep you company and help you with anything you need help with!" She said with a childish energy about her.

"Uh, okay then... do you know what happened to any of the other animatronics?"

" All animatronics have been put into their new respective rooms for safety purposes. Maintenance is scheduled to come today and then you will be released from your rooms." Bonnet said

" What is maintenance gonna do?"

"Well they are supposed to test reflexes and stuff and if you fail...don't fail."

"Bonnet what will happen?"

"I can't tell you."

" Bonnet what will happen?!"

The small pink rabbit stopped talking and hopped away into the darkness. " Bonnet come back!" Funtime foxy yelled but bonnet didn't come back and right as she left a light from one of the walls turned on. Ft foxy was nearly blinded by the bright light that came from what she thought was a wall but was actually a large window on a wall that contained what looked like an office but had small control panels. A man in a purple guard uniform crawled in through a vent and began to use a panel for another room. A loud scream came as a blue light came from the other window in the office. The man was speaking into a microphone until he finally seemed satisfied with whatever happened in the other room. He walked over to her window and began to speak into the mic.

"Hello Funtime foxy, I have a few tests for you to complete, if you pass you may move on to another test and then leave the room, should you fail I will administer a controlled shock to you and we will repeat the test until you get it right."

Funtime foxy nodded and waited for him to give her the tests. " First you need to show you can still perform, can you enter perform mode for one minute?" Funtime foxy obeyed and entered the mode he asked for. It was one where she couldn't really control much other than going into her normal mode for more REAL performances. "Thank you, now for the final test." A picture was displayed on the wall of a child " what do you do when there is only one child in a room?" Funtime foxy only looked at the child and turned back to the window " Entertain them or lead them to another room where there are more children." the man was unhappy with this answer and he hit a button on the panel. Ft foxy felt a small tingling sensation then her entire body began to lock up and she felt her body burn with pain. She screamed as the sudden pain made her fall to the floor. The burning sensation stopped as fast as it began and it left Ft foxy in pain on the floor. " You animatronics finally fulfilled your purpose only to forget what that is? It's a real shame, but you will discover these things in time. You are in working condition and once you recover from the controlled shock you may leave this room."A door in the room opened and the man disappeared from the window leaving ft foxy in the dark to process what had just happened to her.
