Kayla is one of Ricky's old flings I guess you could say. They were mostly friends with benefits since the boy wanted to forget Nini at least for the summer so he thought if he started this friends with benefits it would help. But Kayla actually got...

Both teenagers pulled away from each other realizing they had been outside longer than they thought. They made their way back inside with Ricky's arm around her shoulder and her arm around his waist. They had already announced the king and it was Cameron. Now they were announcing the queen. As soon as Ricky and Kayla walked in they said her name. "Now for our queen Kayla Morgan!" The blonde looked around shocked. The curly haired boy gave her a hug with a smile on his face. She smiled at him walking towards Cameron. "Thank you." She said to the lady who placed the crown on her head.
Cameron pulled his best friend into a hug. She still couldn't believe she was crowned homecoming queen. "You think now it's a good time?" She looked at Cameron nodding. She looked at all her team mattes for the Teen Beach musical. They all walked out rushing to go change. Kayla had changed into some black skinny jeans with a white tank top. Her jean jacket. Her blonde hair was pulled up into a ponytail with a few strands at the front falling out. She wraps a white bandana around her head keeping the few strands in front. Last she put on her black converts and re applied her pink lipstick. She put on her black converse.
When she walked out everyone was ready and they all smiled at each other. "Let's do this!" They wanted to throw a small surprise to get the students ready for the musical and what other ways that have a small performance. Ricky watched Kayla with an 'aw' face. She really did surprise him when it came to her performing. She always had the right emotions throughout her performances. It felt good knowing that they were starting all over. Maybe all of this could give him time to think of who he really loved. He also needed someone to be there for him mostly now with what was happening with his parents. Kayla had definitely been such a big impact on his life. She was the one that had made him ask Nini out.
Even when he felt he wasn't ready she would always be there to give him a push. He was thankful for having her in his life. God knows what he would be doing without her if he had never grown balls to apologize to her. He smiled at the blonde who was so focused on her performance. Time seemed to pass by fast because no here they were after the homecoming dance just laughing and talking. Just Ricky, Kayla and Gina. The rest of her friends had gone home due to how tired they were from dancing and shouting the songs. Kayla was laughing out loud remembering the time she fell back stage in one of her tours. Ricky had gone with her and was really scared of how many people would be there. And if they were going to ask him questions about her. "So you're saying that you go on a skateboard with heels on? And proceed to think it was the normal thing to do?"
Asked Gina giggling at the blonde. "Hey, in my defense I thought it was going to turn out good. How was I supposed to know that I would lose balance and almost break my ankle." The blonde giggled looking at Ricky who had stayed quiet for a moment. He was staring at her without him realizing it. Her beautiful blonde curly hair was down. Her sparkling blue eyes popped out more with her eyelashes and the eyeliner she was wearing. Her hand was covering her mouth. He knew she hated when she laughed out loud and people looked at her. She felt like someone was looking inside her mouth for some odd reason. On her fingers she still had these beautiful silver rings her mother had bought her when she first started her music career. Her red dress hugged her body perfectly and right now he was enjoying the view.
