"So you're telling ne you don't have practice because the gym is being inspected and so you decided to go here in the garden and wait for me?" y/n massaged her temples

"Exactly! You got it" Iwaizumi finger guns at y/n and smiles

"You know you could've just went home right?" y/n gave Iwaizumi a tired look

"Nah, I feel lonely whenever I walk home"

"Then go home with Oikawa-san" y/n sarcastically replied

"I'm too tired to keep up with his bs" Iwaizumi puts his bag down "So teach me how to garden instead" He pats the girl's h/c hair

y/n gave him a sigh "didn't you said you hated gardening?" y/n got up to fetch some tools in the near shed

"Hate is a strong word, its just boring" Iwaizumi helps y/n carry the tools you both needed

"I guess I can teach you how to plant a flower and probably change your mind about gardening" y/n proudly says to the male

"Take it away mother nature" Iwaizumi jokes, he met y/n's eyes and he immediately apologized for the horrible joke he made

"Okay so put the seed in the pot" y/n handed some tulip seeds to Iwaizumi

"What seeds are these?" He asks, placing the seeds into the pot almost filled with soil

"They're tulip seeds" y/n shows the packet where the tulip seeds originally came from
"These were the only seed flowers we had left, so you have no right to complain!" y/n reached for the watering can and gave it to Iwaizumi

"Make sure you don't over water them" And with that the male started watering the pot, moisturizing the healthy soil

without looking away from the pot he says your name "y/n"

you look at him and simply raised your eyebrows

"Did you know tulips mean perfect love?" He stops watering the pot to look at you. He gives you a warm smile making you flustered

"I read it on the internet" He added

'damn it, you ruined the moment!' you thought to yourself

"You didn't need to tell me that you read it on the internet. That part made it less romantic" You playfully rolled your eyes making him laugh and of course you laughed as well

you left the pot next to the flowers, making sure it gets enough sunlight

"There, that should do it" y/n claps her hands together, getting rid of the dust and dried up soil on her palms

"When will it bloom?" Iwaizumi asks

"Well it depends on the weather and our location but maybe around march or april?"

"That would be nice, I get to see it bloom before I graduate" he says with a rather sad but hopeful voice

"Oh yeah, you guys are graduating next year huh.." you felt sad since you'd be left out because you were a second year

"Yeah, I will visit you though. So no need to be sad alright?" He pats your back, assuring you that he wont forget you

"lets go home?"
"yeah, lets"

when taking care of love
it needs patience, give it time
to grow. don't rush it or it'll
wither like our flower
