The school bell rings signaling all students that it's home time

"Y/n you coming?" One of your classmates asks you, but of course you declined

"No thank you, I cant come with you guys. I have to do something important, sorry!" You bowed and continued to tidy up your things

Closing your shoe locker you walk your way out of school hoping to see Iwaizumi but no. No one was there, just some students also walking home

you scan your surroundings hoping to find him, you were confused. 'Maybe he's still practicing' is what u thought.

you decided to give the gym a visit. as you turned around and made your way to the gym, there he was. Iwaizumi

he looked horrible, dark bags under his eyes, messy hair, ruffled up uniform. he gives you a tired look and mouths "Sorry I can't go home with you" then continued walking, not even waiting for your response or looking back at you.

suddenly an arm wraps around you

"Yahoo! y/n-chan" a very familiar voice rang through both of your ears. Oikawa

"Oikawa, you're gonna choke her" Hanamaki scolds their captain

"It looks like he's gonna make y/n deaf with that annoying voice of his" Matsukawa added

"Im not!! Anyways, wasn't that Iwa-chan? why didn't you go with him? Oh! you're probably waiting for me right?" Oikawa bounces around

"Iwaizumi-san said he can't come with me, by looking at him he's probably tired" You denied Oikawa's statement

"I wonder why he's so worked up? the test aren't even that near and the teachers sont even give us that many projects and assignments" Matsukawa says and the rest of the team just nods, except for Kyoutani who already started walking. avoiding any Iwaizumi related questions

"This is our way! see you guys!" Oikawa waves to his teammates and so did you

the brunette decided to walk you home since it was getting pretty dark and he lived nearby

he broke the silence by sighing "Its so hard without a manager to take care of us!"

"You guys have a coach, isn't that enough?" you ask as he still whined

"What I mean is I want a pretty manager to manage the team!" Oikawa gets an idea "y/n-chan, maybe you should apply to be our manager!" his eyes light up

you immediately turned him down "Oikawa-san I'm already in the gardening club, I can't join two clubs at the same time"

"Then leave the gardening club and be our manager!" he helds both of your hands and shines you his charming smile
