it's been a week since Iwaizumi walked home without you, whenever you try to find him he would just ignore you or make you go away

"Jeez I know being a third year is hard but does he really have to avoid me everytime we see each other in the hallways?" you rant to Oikawa who basically became the 2nd Iwaizumi.

he would walk home with you, keep you company every minute possible, have lunch with you, and basically everything Iwaizumi would do if he were with you

"He's been acting pretty strage too when we have practice, he keeps missing my sets and blames me for it!" Oikawa lets out a sigh, a tired one it seems but he was worried. Oikawa was worried about Iwaizumi

"Then again maybe he's just doing something important, I'll try asking him tomorrow at practice, He leaves so early too, so I'll try my best" Oikawa's been doing a lot for you this week so you should try paying him back

"See you y/n-chan!" he waves his hands and both of you parted ways

next morning

"Nice kill!" "Nice receive!" "Up!" along with squeaking noises which of course were made by the players

"Iwa-chan!" the brunette puts an arm around Iwaizumi who was ready to hit Oikawa at any second

"What is it? I'm in a rush" He crossed his arms

Oikawa being cautious, removed his arms

"Why do you always leave practice so early? y/n-chan even told me you stopped walking her home" Oikawa puts a hand on his waist being the model he is

some players decides to listen and see what outcome will happen

"And? I mean you're already walking home with her right? Isn't she grateful that the great Oikawa Tooru is walking her home?" The ace fired back, slamming not hard but loud enough to get everybody's attention

"You didn't answer my—" Oikawa got cut of as Iwaizumi's phone rang

"I'll be going ahead, tell y/n I'm busy" with that he takes his bag and leaves the club room/gym

on his way out he came across with a familiar face

"Iwaizumi-san! Hey, it's been a week. Lets walk home together! I'll treat you today" you offered but he immediately shook his head

"No thank you, I'm pretty busy" he walks away not even waiting for a response. his figure becoming smaller and smaller as he take each step

'are you really THAT busy? we barely even talk!'  you wanted to confront your senior but you couldn't

you're afraid he might pull something like  "why does it even bother you? it's not like we're dating"  or "stop bothering me, you're really annoying"

and you didn't want him to say that so you kept your mouth shut

you snap back to reality as soon as Iwaizumi was far enough for you to see him

"Kyoutani come on just tell us why Iwaizumi is acting like that" some players including the captain (yes Oikawa himself) tried bribing Kyoutani to tell them what was wrong with Iwaizumi

"You guys are in my personal space. And like I said, I dont know Iwaizumi-san on a personal level like Oikawa-san" Kyoutani tried pushing away his teammates away

"Even I don't know what's up with Iwa-chan. And we literally grew up together!" Oikawa dramatically falls onto the ground

"We'll just ask Iwaizumi again, let's all just calm down and go home for now" Hanamaki claps both of his hands, gathering everybody's attention
