Benjamin's POV.

--Five Years Later--

I sat on the couch, staring blankly at the TV as the news anchor's voice filled the room. It had been five years since my divorce from Rainbow, and I had spent every waking moment trying to rebuild my life, to make amends for the pain I had caused.

As I listened to the anchor's introduction, I couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over me. I had thought about Rainbow every day since our divorce, wondering how she was doing, if she had moved on.

And then, suddenly, the anchor's words caught my attention. "Today, we have a very special guest, someone who has inspired countless people with her story of resilience and determination. Please welcome, Rainbow..."

My heart skipped a beat as Rainbow's face appeared on the screen, her bright smile and sparkling eyes filling the room with warmth. I felt a lump form in my throat as I watched her, my mind racing with memories of our time together.

What had she been up to all these years? I leaned forward, my eyes glued to the screen, as I waited to hear her story. The host continued to introduce Rainbow. A hero, a philanthropist, a mother to many motherless children...

The words echoed in my mind, painting a picture of a woman I barely recognized. The Rainbow I knew was fragile, broken, and hurting. But this... this was a woman who had risen from the ashes, who had taken her pain and turned it into something beautiful.

As the audience applauded, I felt a lump form in my throat. I was so proud of her, so proud of the strong, resilient woman she had become. And at the same time, I felt a deep sense of regret, knowing that I had played a part in her pain, in her journey towards healing.

The host's words brought me back to the present, and I watched as Rainbow smiled, her eyes shining with tears, as she stood up to acknowledge the applause. She looked... radiant, her presence filling the room with a sense of hope and resilience.

As she began to speak, her voice was clear and strong, I felt my heart swell with emotion. I was about to hear her story, to hear about the journey she had taken to heal from the trauma I had inflicted upon her. And I knew that it was going to be a difficult listen, but one that I desperately needed to hear.

She looked... stunning. The years had been kind to her, and she seemed to glow with an inner light that I had never seen before. Her long hair cascading down her back like a golden waterfall, I felt my heart skip a beat. It was like no time had passed at all, and I was transported back to the days when we were together.

I couldn't help but notice the way she was dressed, the peach-colored suit pants and heels accentuating her curves in all the right places. And yet, it was the lack of jewelry that really caught my attention. She had always looked more beautiful without it, and now was no exception.

As I gazed at her, I felt a wave of nostalgia wash over me. I remembered the way she used to smile at me, the way she used to laugh. And I realized, with a pang of regret, that I had taken all of that for granted.

The audience's applause faded into the background as I sat there, mesmerized by the woman on the screen. I was captivated by her beauty, her confidence, and her strength. And I knew, in that moment, that I would never forget her.

"Hello again, and welcome; we're very excited to have you on the people's show." The female host exclaimed with a smile.

"Hello to you too, Elena. And thank y'all for having me on the show. I'm honored to be here...I'm a bit nervous though."  the host and the audience are thrown into fits of laughter and giggles, while some are awed by her words.
