It's been five days since Mrs. Raymon sprung the nonexistent talent show that she also left me and Michael in charge of.

Just because of this, Michael has been coming over way more than usual....which is never.

Yall probably thinking..."Why you sound so uncomfortable, you should be happy?"

Don't get me wrong, I am happy but this just seems convenient.... too convenient for my liking .

Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

Right now I was back at the school, in the studio finishing my solo for the talent show.

I already the instrumental for the song so all I had to do was the vocals.

I put my headphone on and played the track.

"What happens to a flame when it burns out?
What happens to a love that's not new?
What happens when I'm no longer impressive?
Or when there's nothing left to learn about you?"

"See, I used to wonder 'bout you
What it would be like to love you
Now I've seen every hole in your heart
I'm used to loving slowly
But this time, you already know me
I hope you like all the broken parts"

"Oh, we can't run away from the comfortable
'Cause it's inevitable in love, in love
Oh it's time we make way for the comfortable
'Cause it's already comfortable in us, in us"

I was in the auditorium, helping the technology club set up mics and light for the show.

"You got the blueprints Mike?" Josh, one of the club members asked.

"Umm I think so, hold on" I hopped off the stage and grabbed my bag, looking for the blue prints. I checked every single inch but couldn't fine them.

But then I realized I left them in the music room. "Damn"

"Mike you find them yet!"

"No, I left them in the music room, gimme a second!"

I walked out the auditorium, down the hall to the music room.

I noticed the door was already open. Who's in here?

I walking in seeing the blue prints on Mrs. Raymon's desk. I grabbed them and was about to walk out until I heard singing.

"They say the honeymoon is just a puppet show (Puppet show)
They say nobody really makes it through (Makes it through)
And though a part of me wishes that this was two July's ago
The rest of me is safer here with you"

I walked towards the studio door and saw Alessia sitting at the mic with headphones on. I slowly opened the door and leaned against the doorframe, listening to her soulful voice.

"See, I used to wonder 'bout you
What it would be like to love you
But now I know you inside and out
I'm used to loving slowly
But it took you nothing to know me
What happens when I run out of parts? Yeah"

I took my phone out and recorded her singing. I smiled just listening to the lyrics, kind of hoping this was about us. Because if it was, I'm feeling the same way.

"Oh, I guess you could say that it's comfortable
And it's inevitable in love, in love
Oh, it's time we make way for the comfortable
'Cause it's already comfortable in us, in us"

I stood a little longer but then realizing the tech club needed these blue prints. I smiled once again and walked away hearing the last few lines of her song.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
In the comfortable with you"
