Today has been a busy day.

I got a new car, went to the mall and arcade with Marlon, Janet and Michael. I even wrote down some new songs.

After we got back from the arcade and mall, we watched the new Madea movie and just chill outside then Mama Kat made a big dinner which was Fried chicken, salad, mashed potatoes, baked macaroni and cheese, and for dessert, she made double fudge chocolate cake and peanut butter cookies. I went for a second and third plate, I'm gonna be real fat before the weekend is over with.

But right now it was 3:23am and my insomnia was being a bitch to me. I got off the bottom bunk of Janet's bunk beds and went downstairs to the kitchen.

I saw the island light was still on. Guess Mama Kat forgot to turn it off. I went and looked for something to snack on. I ended up finding the cookies she made and took two, then made myself some tea on the stove.

While waiting for the water to boil, I sat at one of the stools and laid my head down on the counter, humming a tune. 

After a while I heard footsteps and the lights went out.

"Somebody's in here"

I raised my head as the lights came back on, I saw Michael leaning on the doorframe.

"Sorry Alessia, I thought mother forgot the lights again"

I shrugged and sighed "It's okay Michael, I was about to turn them off after my tea was done"

Michael walked towards the island and leaned on the counter. "Tea? You okay?"

"Yea, I just can't sleep. You okay? Your up pretty late too"

He chuckled and smiled "I can't sleep either"

I smiled "well want some tea, i can make you some?"

He nodded "i'd like that, thank you"

I nodded while getting up from the stool. I went to the cabinets to get another mug then went to the stove and poured the water in each mug along with a tea bag.

"The tea's ready"

I grabbed each mug and carefully walked back to the island, handing Michael his mug. Michael pulled a stool out for me and grabbed one of the mugs, his hand grazed over mine for a quick second.

Michael smiled and mumbled "Thank you"

I sat down at my stool and took a sip of my tea.

There was this awkward silence. All you heard was our mugs occasionally hitting the counter top, us sipping our tea and the ticking of the clock.  

The silence was killing me and I could tell it as killing Michael too.

So I decided to kill it off.

"I have something to tell you" We said in unison.

I guess Michael decided to kill the silence too.

"You go first" He said

I shook my head. "No.... you go"

He shook his head.

We ended up going back and forth.

"You go"

"No you go"

"No..you go"

"No you"

"Alessia!"

"Michael!"

He sighed "Okay fine, how about we say it on 3"

I nodded. "Okay"

He started "One"

"Two"

"Three"

"I know your watching me!" We said in unison.

Both our eyes widened.

"Wait a minute..."

"What the..."

I pointed at him, he pointed at me.

"You know.." In unison

"Yeah I know..." Again in unison

We both looked away from each other, it got awkward again.

I swung my legs side to side as I looked over at the digital clock on the stove, it read 4:02am.

Damn...we been here for a hour.

 I jumped when Michael sighed. "Sorry"

I nodded and kept swinging my legs.

"Alessia?"

I looked up at him. "Yeah?"

He sighed again "How about we just start over?"

I shrugged "Okay"

I turned completely to face him and held my hander out. 

I smiled "Hi, I'm Alessia"

He chuckled and smiled back "Hi Alessia, I'm Michael"

We shook hands and giggled. 

"Michael?"

"Yeah?"

I smiled "Your siblings are crazy"

He chuckled "I know"

After that we started talking, getting to know each other better.

We'd actually had a lot in common, much more than I thought we did.

Omniscient P.O.V

While Michael and Alessia are talking, guess who's sneaking in the background...

Not Jermaine!

It's actually Rebbie.

Rebbie is like the family's human diary. Meaning she knows everybody's secrets.

So she know Michael likes Alessia and Alessia likes Michael.

Their basically in love with each other but don't say anything. 

So Rebbie has a plan to get them together. She walked down the hall, knocking on everybody's door.

Everybody comes out mad as hell because Rebbie woke them up.

"Hush Hush!"

"What's going on Woman?" Randy asked rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand.

"We need to get Michael and Alessia together"

Jermaine and Randy rolled their eyes, knowing after this they'd never get a chance with Alessia.

"FINALLY!" Janet screamed happily.

"Shhhhh!" Everybody shh'd her.

"sorry" Janet pouted, crossing her arms. 

Marlon wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "What the plan Rebbie?"

Everybody huddled up and made a plan.

They will try their very hardest to Alessia and Michael together...

No matter what it takes...
