It was fifth period, which ment Lunch.

I went to mama's classroom to get the car keys.

"Where you going for lunch today baby?" She asked me while typing on her computer.

"Maybe Five Guys. Why, you want a chocolate milkshake and some fries?"

She nodded, giving me a extra twenty. "Please and thank you love"

I nodded and kissed her cheek. "Alright mama, see you after!"

I walked down the hall, swinging the keys around my finger.

I had my purse, which was filled with gum, my wallet and phone, a mini vaseline container and phone charger. Also had my song book and pencil.

Never know where inspiration comes.

As I was about to walk out the door, I heard a little voice call my name followed by another one.

"Alessia! Alessia!"

I turned around and saw Janet and Randy running towards me.

I stopped and giggled as they stood there tryna catch their breathe.

"Hey guys, why yall running?"

"Were you going to lunch?" Randy asked

I nodded.

Then Janet spoke up "Can we go, none of our brothers will take us"

"What about Latoya?"

Randy rolled his eyes "She goes to the mall on her lunch"

I laughed. Figures.

I shrugged my shoulders "I wouldn't mind a little company"

They both smiled and followed me out.

As we walked to mama's car, I heard a honk.

We all turned around to see a light skinned boy getting off of a motorcycle.

A Harley maybe?

Both Janet and Randy ran up to him, giving him a hug.

I'm guessing another Jackson brother.

They walked up me and the light skin held his hand out.

"Hey I'm Marlon, Janet and Randy's older brother"

I shook it and smiled. "Alessia, I'm a friend of theirs"

Janet stood in between us and smiled. "We were just going to lunch Marlon! You wanna come?"

Marlon at me and gave me a questioning smile, I nodded.

"Yea I'll come with yall" He grinned as we got in mama's Red Cadillac.

I put the key in the ignition, backed up out the parking spot and drove off.

"This is a nice ride you got here Alessia!"

I smiled, very proud of myself.

"Thanks it's my mama's, I brought it for her birthday last year"

Last year mama was just officially cancer free, so I decided to spend my last two paychecks to buy her this car. I figured she needed a lil pick-me-up after all that chemo she did for 3 years.

"You bought this big ole thing Alessia?" I heard Janet ask.

I nodded "Sure did! Why you want one?" I joked.

"I want one! I'm graduating early next year, this could be my graduation gift" Randy said with begging eyes.

Me and Marlon laughed "I don't know man, mother may get a little suspicious if you drive home in a car she ain't bought!" Marlon said with a smirk.

Randy kissed his teeth and slumped down in his seat.

"Man whatever!"

We all laughed as I pulled up in the Five Guys parking lot.

We all got out the car and walked in.

Marlon turned to Janet and Randy
"What yall want?"

"A burger with bacon, lettuce,  and cheese on it. Oh and a milkshake, chocolate" Janet said with a smile.

"Double cheese with mayonnaise and ketchup. Coke too" Randy said.

I turned to Janet and Randy "Yall go find us a place to sit"

I watched as they found a booth, while Marlon ordered his and their food.

Then he turned to me "What you want?"

I shook my head but he asked again..
"Fine. Uhh get me what Janet got, no cheese though" He nodded and told the guy at the register.

"Is that all?"
Marlon nodded but I shook my head "Uhh can I get a separate order, large fry and large chocolate milkshake. Please"

The man nodded. "That'll be 30. 43"

I started to take out my wallet but Marlon stopped me. "I got it Alessia"

I shook my head. "I can pay for it!"

Marlon chuckled "I know you can, just take this as a thank you for driving us here"

I sighed in defeat. "Fine but at least let me pay for my mama's milkshake and fries"

He agreed and paid for our meals, while I paid for mama's.

"Here's you ticket, number 77"

We said out thank yous and went to sit with Janet and Randy.

During our lunch, we all talked about the teachers. The ones we loved and the ones we hated.

Of course the ones I loved was my mama and Mrs. Raymon.

When I mentioned Mrs. Raymon, Marlon spoke up.

"Is it just me or does she look like Mama Ode off of the princess and the frog?"

I laughed almost spitting out my milkshake. "No she don't Marlon!"

Then Randy shrugged his shoulders

"I mean she do sound like her and it's not a coincidence that her daughter's named after the princess,  not to mention Tiana do look just like the princess too!"

Me and Janet were laughing almost choking on our milkshakes.

"Yall are a mess! I swear!"
