Cheers to the war we've not yet conquered and to the revel of burning scabs on our skin. To the battles that cost us our armors as the swords yield in defeat.
Here's to the rain showers of child's agony and the rainbow that comes after. To the wilted arrangement of bouquets offered for the forsaken souls that blooms from the grave.
Applause to the limits that we broke and all the hypocrisy we split into two. To the healing of once shaken spirits that pushes us to face adversities.
A toast to the cure we prayed, of hosannas we wished to be heard. To this journey we faced without giving in to our fears towards the destination we all hoped for -
which was and always meant to be.

Réclames of Humanity is one of my literary entries in our school paper "The Living Light" which tackles about the recent pandemic we are facing today.
