Several months had passed since Xavier allowed time to flow throughout the multiverse, and things were progressing nicely.
Xavier started time in, and settled everything in Underfell, Underswap, Echotale, and Outertale already, and was now working on the 'Commonworld' as he liked to call it.
Xavier's memories were coming back steadily, and with them came knowledge and skill. He was somewhat surprised at how easily creating holograms came to him the first time he did it, and has been finding out about more and more new and old things since then.
His blessing by Order, [Coder], did more than just let him access, read, fix, and destroy code. It allowed him to create. With the help of his strings and a lot of practice, Xavier eventually got the hang of it well enough to create The Lobby. Or Commonworld. The name was still a work in progress.
The Lobby was basically a dimension parallel to the antivoid, that would act as a gateway and hangout spot between the universes. It was currently nothing more than a large plaza with fountains, plants, a café, and a large, beautiful building that would be the council and guestrooms. He had also added a sky, but it wasn't perfect yet.
On the plaza, on the side closest to the mentioned buildings, were two phone-booth like structures positioned on either side of the path. Those were the only perfectly functional structures besides the fountains at the moment. The booths were actually concealing a spiral staircase downwards each, which then led to a fairly sized room. The rooms were equiped with a small waiting area, a multiverse-wide-accesible phone station, a three stall bathroom, and a portal room.
Yes, a portal room. This early on the main groups aren't able to open portals outside their AUs without the help of a special mashine stationed in hotland. Xavier was quite familiar with this phenomenon, and was quite glad to find out it would be a long while before even the strongest of Judges could open their own portals.
The almost inaudible sound of smooth static invaded Xavier's hearing.
And talking of portals, it sounds like someone was coming through one.
Xavier swiftly finished the curtains he was creating and teleported to the edge of the plaza. He glanced at both of the booths in anticipation.
No more than a few seconds later, a very excited blue-themed goblin came out of the booth to his left.
"MWEH HEHEH! THE MAGNIFICENT SANS HAS COME TO REWARD YOUR HARD WORK WITH TACOS AND JUICE!"
And it brought food.
"Hi Blue." greeted Xavier with a pleasant smile; his sockets slightly closed.
The short skeleton's smile widened at the sight of his friend. "HI XAVIER!" exclaimed the excited young Sans and waved erratically before walking over.
"What brings the most popular royal guard in training here today?" asked Xavier before meeting Blue half-way to him.
"I Am Here To See My Bestest Friend Of Course!"
Xavier chuckled. "Is that so?"
"YES! You Have Been Working On This Place For A Really Long Time, So I Came To Help! Look! I Even Brought Snacks!" Blue took off his backpack and brought out a container filled with tacos, raising it above his head triumphantly. "MWEH HEH HEH!"
"Oh! You Added Plants! And- Ah!" he gasped "Are Those HOUSES!?"
"Indeed. I have been working on them for quite a while. Would you like to sit and chat over some tacos? I could give you a short tour before you go aswell."
"THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!" he exclaimed.
"Very well. Come. I will show you the café first."
Blue. The Underswap Sans himself. The young skeleton was actually much happier than last time. Then again, they had met much later on and under way more different circumstances before. It would probably take some time to get used to Strech actually being friendly, but he wasn't going to complain.
The fact that Blue got his nickname from the monsters around him was also a nice change. He bore his nickname with pride.
He had a great feeling about this little bugger.
"This is the Café. I'm not the greatest at decorating, but I've got the basics down."
Blue let out a gasp as he looked around.
The brown themed Café seemed to radiate a sense of homeliness, warmth, and safety. A balance between modern simplicity and the beauty of carved furniture made the café all that much more unique. The little pops of white, black, and green all around the place helped the place seem more lively and broke the monochrome theme just enough to not be repetitive.
"This.. Wowie Friend.." Blue walked up to the counter; wonder eminating from his eye lights as he brought up his phalanges and traced the carvings gingerly. Figures with indescribable beauty, landscapes of beauty and horror alike, scenes of fights or friendly outings, stories of friendship, war, and hardship etched into the surfice of various objects and surfice all around.
"Who.. What Are These?" asked the young skeleton. His attention bouncing from each engraving his eye lights could land on. His eagerness to see all of them leading to the amusing sight of him spinning around with a dumbfounded grin.
Xavier turned towards a particular carving as he explained.
"You could say they're.. Stories."
Xavier grabbed a wooden vase and stared at the engraving on it for a moment – his face void of any expression. He gazed upon the scene as if studying it. Blue was about to ask about it, but was cut off by the taller setting it back.
"Let's go upstairs." he smiled at Blue "I can't wait to hear about how everything is going in your AU. Have you decided your name yet?" Xavier started walking towards the stairs before stopping and glancing at his little skeleton friend.
"Not Yet!" exclaimed an excited Blue and ran over to the taller. "But Soon We Will Have The Most Magnificent Name Of All Mweh heheh!"
"That sounds great." chuckled Xavier. "Almost as great as those tacos you brought with you. Have you thought about my proposition yet?"
Blue's eyelights trailed over to the vase.
"Indeed I Have!" he turned back to his friend. "I Would Be Honored To Help Make It Aswell!"

Question: Do you want the AUs to have the same nicknames as usual (swap, fell, mob, etc) or unique ones? If so, what do you want them to be?
