events of yesterday surged through my mind as i stretched myself awake. everything felt like a dream to me, us making up to telling jeongin the truth and finally making him mine. still feeling tired, i shut my eyes and cuddled closer to my baby-

wait, this isn't innie.

i sat up and was suddenly hit by a pillow. "hyunnie wake up! wake up! let's do something today!" jeongin grinned at me, accompanied by a bark from kkami. speaking of that little rascal, he climbed on top of the bed and licked my face.

"okay okay i'm up! please stop attacking me kkami." and with that said, he jumped down into jeongin's arms. this duo is absolutely the cutest thing to wake up to, i'm so lucky to have them by my side.

"hyungie! i made bacon and eggs, wash up first and we'll wait for you downstairs."

"innie, can i ask you for something first?" i asked him.

"what is it hyungie?"

"give hyungie a kiss please." i pleaded, with puppy eyes and a pout for extra effectiveness. sadly, i didn't think it worked.

"not with your morning breath i will! now brush your teeth and get moving." he glared at me, walking out with kkami. the dog looked back at me and he seemed like he was telling me, "that's what you get you stinky hooman." dogs.

but wait, does my morning breath really smell that bad?

"innie you made us the best breakfast! you truly are the bestest boy." i complimented him, earning a blush from the said boy. i'd bask him with love and affection every single day if it makes him like that.

"yah hyungie! finish your meal first!" he scolded me, but it only made me want to tease him more, so i did. "it's only our first day together being a couple, but it already feels like we're married." i winked.

"hwang hyunjin i swear if you don't stop, i leaving you here and i'm taking kkami with me. you understand?" he threatened.

"innie baby i don't think kkami would join you and plus, you love me too much for that."

"oh really now? i did it before, and i can do it again. right kkami?" and of course, my dog of 5 years betrays me by barking at his question.

in my own household, i am the outsider.

but honestly, i wouldn't want it in any other way.

"yang jeongin, i hope you know that i'm not letting you go this time. no matter what happens, you're stuck with me." i held his hand. "i promise you that."

no words were exchanged but the look on his eyes were enough for me to understand what he felt.

"anyways bub, you and kkami settle down on the couch while i wash the dishes. choose a movie you want and grab some snacks for us while you're at it." i told him.

"hyunnie?"

"yes baby?"

"you can have that kiss now."

and with his permission, i connected our lips without any hesitation.

you're the best thing i've got.
