completely baffled by his reason, i unconsciously let out my laughter. i knew my boyfriend was a fool, but i didn't know that he was that big of a fool.

"innie? what's so funny?" hyunnie frowned, clearly not liking my response.

"you- you're- gosh hyunnie, please listen to what i'm about to say. well i guess this was also my fault because i didn't say anything to you. hwang hyunjin, lixie is lee felix, my best friend. we've known each other since we were in diapers."

"b-but that doesn't erase the fact that you lied! you told me your mom was calling!" he pointed out.

"i didn't lie hyungie! my mom did call me, she told me that lixie was asking for me but the thing is, i didn't have his number so....hehe. it was my fault for not telling you about him, you were sleepy so i wanted you to rest but it turns out, i caused the opposite. so i'm really sorry."

"innie baby, do not apologize! you did nothing wrong. i'm the worst boyfriend ever, my emotions got the best of me, and i upset you. i'm the one who should say sorry to you." hyunjin hyung looked ashamed, and stared at the floor to avoid my eyes. hmmm...i think i can have my way with him, hehe..

"well if you're really sorry then...." i trailed off.

"uhm....how can i make it up to you?" he asked.

"i don't know hyunnie....you really hurt me." i sighed.

hyungie suddenly paused, and pondered on what he was planning to do in order for us to be okay again. well, i've already forgiven him but i want him to do something fun with me! i wish he could ask me on-

"innie, go on a date with me?" my boyfriend can read my mind??

"but we can't go outside though?"

"no bub! we can just stay here, since we have a backyard and all of that....i could order nice food and have it delivered. oh! we could also dress nicely!" he added, wanting to push through with his idea.

"hyungie....you do know that all my clothes are yours right? you dragged me here without any personal belongings...but okay, since you owe me something. i'll go on a date with you!" i smiled.

"baby, even if those are my clothes, you look 100x more adorable in them more than i ever will be. that won't stop me from dressing you up though!" he winked at me. gosh, when will he stop messing with me! my heart is too weak for this!

"hey hyungie, i'm still mad at you. so you better order lots of food, so i can forgive you." i glared at him, and let me tell you, innie with a straight face is the scariest innie.

"okay love! now let me dress you up in my hoodie. we wouldn't want my baby to freeze, would we?"

while me and kkami were playing inside the house, we were restricted from entering the backyard. hyunnie said it was a surprise, and i wasn't allowed to see anything. he didn't even let me see the food he ordered for us! what a big meanie :(

"innie! please put this on, you aren't allowed to see it yet!" he tied a blindfold to cover my sight.

"how am i supposed to walk to the backyard?"

"i'll lead you there silly! now hold my hand!" he giggled. my boyfriend should win best laugh of the year, it's the most endearing sound to hear.

"okay innie! you can remove your blindfold!"

i looked over to spot below the tree to see a blanket, and on it there were toast, cookies, fruits & different types of food that were placed beautifully.

"i made sure that they had characters because i know how much you like them, i even got you tulips because they're your favorite type of flowers. um..did you like the surprise innie?"

i was so touched by it that i didn't realise that tears were rolling down my cheeks. in my 17 years of living in this world, i never expected anyone to do this for me.

"oh no innie, did i make a mistake? i'm sorry baby, i didn't mean to! what did you not like? i'll change-" annoyed by his ranting, i pecked his lips to shut him up.

"i loved it you idiot! no one has done anything like this for me. you don't need to change a thing, it's already perfect. let's eat okay? we wouldn't want our date to go to waste."

.....

"i'm so full! hyunnie, thank you for doing this for me. despite our misunderstanding earlier, today has been the happiest day."

"do not thank me, okay? i should be the one doing that. you're so understanding and patient, i don't know how you put up with my behavior. you deserve to be happy, and i promise to do my best as your boyfriend. i love you, innie."

his 'i love you' was so sudden it caught me off-guard, i didn't expect the sudden confession. this is the first time he said it to me.

"i'll always understand you. we're in a relationship, remember?" i told him, "and hyunnie?"

"yes?"

"i love you too."

after i let those words out, his smile was so bright that his eyes turned into little crescents. and there we have it, my favorite hwang hyunjin.

"go inside and watch tv with kkami, i'll clean this up. we can go cuddle and complain about the news, okay?"

a few minutes later, hyunnie, kkami and i were all cuddled up on the couch. we were waiting for updates about our situation. the face of the official appeared on the screen, indicating that he was about to start his message.

"after comprehensive research and discussion, we have decided to extend the community quarantine for a duration of three weeks. we hope for everyone's cooperation and understanding especially in the face of this pandemic. thank you." he announced. hyunjin and i turned to look at each other, with a knowing look on our faces. we both laughed.

i'm stuck with you, love.
