School was fine. I mean I could hardly complain right? I was in education so that was a good thing.

I guess one down fall is that for school to really make it through with friends along side you, you needed one thing ....

I'm afraid that was not really my speciality, if I am honest. I am not ugly really but I wasn't drop dead gorgeous.

I did have one friend. A best friend. Her name is Nora. We met when I was thirteen and we have been best friends ever since.

Last night when I was watching the celeb news, guess what title decided to pop up on my screen as I was folding laundry in my room.

JAKE HAMILTON RETURNING TO SCHOOL FOR HIS FINAL YEAR! A YEAR OFF TOURS! HOW WILL HIS FANS REACT?

For a second I was completely gobsmacked. I mean seriously. He was back after all these years why?!

I wasn't looking forward to meeting him again if I am honest, this would mean an extreme amount of awkwardness. It honestly would be like meeting him for the first time. And trust me I wouldn't be like another one of his female fans swooning over the sight of him that's for sure.

I guess I had to tell Nora. For some reason for not being completely honest with Nora made my stomach turn. She had always been there for me and I was the first person she came to when she heard of her parents divorce a couple of years back.

I was glad to have her so it's best for me to tell her everything.

When it came to lunch of our first day back at school after the summer, for most people the summer is awaited. Whereas for me it is 6 weeks of tidying up and catching up on some missed out cleaning and no Nora.

"Nora" I said as I planted myself on a abandoned picnic bench in the school grounds outside of the cafeteria. " I need to tell you something."

"Let me guess when you were twelve you were best friends with Jake Hamilton but you he net heard from him since. So you find it awkward that he is returning. Good guess?" She said. I'm not going to lie but I was totally gob smacked.

"Good guess." I paused. "But may I ask, how did you know?"

"Everyone's knows it's pretty much the gossip of the week. Every one thinks he is coming back for you. As you had a bit of a spark." My face reddened. I always knew Nora was a know it all but seriously. She was getting way too good.
