The undying loud music was beginning to be unbearable as the sound was booming into my ears.
Tonight had been successful, and it being around 9 o'clock leaving a hour left of the ball. After dancing, talking and laughing with the mystery boy, which was undeniably the best time I have had in years, we had decided to exit the hall before allowing the sound to deafen us.
The amount of bodies in the room crammed into one another made it hard for us to exit the room, so we had to walk out of the room hand-in-hand. We I could not deny made me smile and tingles shoring up my arms.
We finally made our way out of the building through the double doors, after pushing through many people on our mission to exit.
We were met by a cold breeze being sent straight towards us as we walked on.
There was a comfortable silence set between us. It was nice to be honest, no awkwardness just being comfortable in silence. I was shifting my gaze along the grounds of the mansion.
Then my eyes spotted a stone wall surrounding the beautiful lake. "Look at the lake, can we go over so I can walk along the wall."
His eyes looked worried and confused as if he wouldn't budge. I squeezed his hand and said "please".
"fine but please be careful." He asked in concern.
"Aww are you worried about me." I teased, nudging him with my elbow in the stomach lightly whilst we continued to head down to the wall.
"Yes I am." He said dead seriously which I couldn't help but blush at how nice he had been even though we had only met two hours previous.
We reached the wall after walking towards it for two minutes and I stepped up onto the wall. And continued walking along the wall.
"So how about you tell me who you are?" The mystery guy said which made me trip up on the wall and fall in the side towards the river. He tried catching me but failed causing us both fall into the lake. I started laughing so much once I resurfaced whilst I was soaked from head to toe. As was the mystery guy.
I saw him resurface flapping his arms and legs. I began to panic under the impression that he could not swim.
So as quick as I could I swam towards him and grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the side but then he spun me round. I knew it wasn't deep as I could hit the bottom if I were a couple of inches taller and would be able to stand up straight.
He was able to stand up straight and was smirking at me.
"Did you really believe that I could not swim?" He asked still smirking at me.
"I was under the impression." I said then splashing water at his face then giggling. "And that, sir, was payback."
"I'm not the one that's going to pay" he said replaying with a splash to me.
"Your on." We began to splash each other. After five minutes of laughing and splashing one another we heard a booming voice.
"ALL CHILDREN MUST RETURN TO THE COACH TO RETURN TO SCHOOL." A teacher shouted through a megaphone.
"We better get going." Mystery guy said. We both swan over to the wall. "I'll get up first so I can help you up." So he got up first and I was able to pull myself up.
Unfortunately according to my clumsy nature my foot got caught so I was falling forward, expecting to come face first with the ground. When a strong arm wrapped around my waist holding me up.
Once I lifted my head up I came eye to eye with my mystery guy. My heart began to race faster. When we began to inch further to one another. Then we shared a simple kiss.
Interrupted by the speaker repeating it's message we had to run towards the coach hand in hand. I could not help but smile ear to ear.
