(1x01)
Lilah sits in the backseat of her father's SUV, jiggling her leg up and down as it speeds down the road, the Catholic church nearly in sight.
"You didn't have to come," Hope looks over her shoulder from the front seat, sending a pointed look toward the nervous girl.
"Neither did you," Lilah retorts. Her body lurches forward when the car comes to a halt, her dad having stomped on the breaks in an attempt to shut the two girls up.
"Do you think you're ready?" Hope wonders, opening the car door and stepping out.
Lilah and Ric follow suit, the female Saltzman idling up to Hope's side. "I guess we'll find out."
When Ric rounds the other side of the car, Hope and Lilah take it upon themselves to start toward the church. The Mikaelson stops short though, when she sees what appears to be a familiar face. "Landon..." She says almost fondly.
"Hope?" He questions incredulously.
"You two know each other?" Ric frowns.
Lilah folds her arms, shifting on her feet. "As nice as this reunion has been, I think there's someone in there that needs our help." A look is sent Hope's way, "unless you forgot amidst the sight of your long lost lover."
Hope grits her teeth, "it's a long story."
"I'm sure it is," Lilah snarks.
Their banter is interrupted by the sound of glass breaking and a guttural scream piercing the air. Landon spins on his heels, his eyes wide as he stairs into the glass doors of the church.
"Dad," Lilah signals, her forehead creased in concern.
"Yeah, I'm on it." He moves his hunting gear into one hand and and grabs the handle of the church doors, forcefully trying to yank them open. "Doors are locked," he turns to the duo.
Lilah's lips rise into a small smile, the doors swinging open with a mere twitch of her hands. It's not long after, that the glass shatters along with the magic emitting from the girl, a sheepish look crossing her features. "That's my bad,"
"We'll work on that," Hope informs her.
Landon looks faint, his eyes darting between the broken doors and Lilah.
"I'd stay out here if I were you," Lilah advises. "It's not exactly gonna be rainbows and yellow brick roads in there."
Despite Lilah's warning, Landon follows them as they rush inside, intent to help the wolf suffering at the hands of the priest.
"Maledicte diabolo!" The priest shouts, holding out a crucifix. "Et impius discedite!"
"There's no wicked here, Father," Lilah interupts loudly. Hope looks at her and they share a look, the blonde quickly recanting her statement. "Well, maybe just a little."
"One of you shut down the exorcist, would you?"
Hope raises her right hand and shouts an incantation as she squeezes her hand into a fist, "Silencio!" A patch of skin appears over the Father's mouth, his eyes widening in fear. He reaches up and claws at his throat until Hope casts her next spell, "Ad somnum!"
Father Pietro, Hector, and Maria all drop to the ground, their bodies hitting the floor with a sickening thump. Rafael, the wolf they came for, looks at them desperately, pleading for help. "Please...help me...what's happening?" He screams in pain when his bones begin to break, his body twisting in inhuman ways to accustom his wolf form.
Landon, his breathing labored, looks at the scene with worried eyes. "My God,"
"No," Lilah glances at him with an arched eyebrow. "Just us."
