The Masked Man

Naruto walked through the village, keeping his head low to hide his face, he didn't want any of the villagers to see him. If they did, the usual beating would happen. It's not that Naruto couldn't stop them. He didn't want to stop them.

It's his punishment for being a demon. Although he knows he isn't one, he just has to let it happen. He fears that if he did fight back, he'd become what the villagers say he is. A demon.

Why do they call him a demon? Well, he has a tailed beast sealed inside of him. A beast formed by chakra only. Naruto has the nine tailed fox inside of him. The strongest amongst the tailed beasts.

Tailed beasts are nine giant living forms created by the Sage of The Six Paths out of the chakra of the Ten-Tails. How does he know this? Well let's say, Naruto is friends with his tailed beast.

'Kit, let's talk', said a voice inside of Naruto's head.

'Not now nine tails.", responded Naruto inside his head.

'Stop calling me that! I told you my name already, so start calling me by my name!', exclaimed the beast.

'Sorry Kurama, I forget sometimes! It's just that I'm used to calling you "nine tails", why do you hate when I call you that?'

'That name was given to us tailed beasts by humans to look down on us. Humans only see us as tools for war. Weapons. They think just because we're beasts we don't have feelings. That's not true at all. We do feel. We have emotions. I hate humans'

'So you hate me?'

'No kit, not at all. You've gained my trust through your determination and words. You've kept your word. Your the only human to ever accept me for who I actually am Naruto.'

'I'm flattered, really. But didn't super gramps sage accept you tailed beasts because he's the one who made you?'

'Although that is true, but the Sage wasn't no ordinary human. His mother wasn't human, so in a way, he wasn't human.'

'I see'

'So can we talk now?'

'No not right now, once we've gotten to the hokage faces we'll talk ok?'

'Why?!', pouted Kurama.

'Because I want to summon you so I can talk to you like old times. We haven't been able to do that since the chunin exams started.'

'Ah yes, it would be great to see you again! It really has been a while kit! Fine I'll wait! You better have snacks like always Naruto!'

'I'm carrying them in my pocket'

'Crackers?'

'Salted, just how you like it!'

'YEAAAH!', said Kurama excitedly.

Naruto chuckled, 'Ok Kurama, just sit back and stay quiet for the time being ok?'

'Sure thing kit'

Naruto walked in silence all the way up to the mountain where the hokage faces were. Once he arrived he bit his thumb making a little blood trickle out, he went through five handsigns.

He placed his hand on the ground and yelled, "Summoning Jutsu!". A small cloud of smoke surrounded the area that Naruto placed his hand on.

Once the smoke cleared, a tiny orange fox with small nine tails with six whiskers bigger than his face appeared. He looked up at Naruto, who was staring at him.
