Redemption

Gaara shot more sand bullets at Kakashi, but he kept dodging them with ease, he dashed at Gaara with a Lightning Blade. Once he reached Gaara he tried striking him with the Blade, but was sent rolling across the battlefield by a punch.

"Naruto! You're back! It's been hours! What took you so long?"

"I was fighting. Nothing else", Naruto quietly said.

"Well, I'm done with him, he's all yours now"

Naruto smirked as he walked towards the fallen Kakashi, "Thank you very much Gaara. Go back to the battlefield, I'll try to finish this up quickly"

Gaara nodded and levitated from the ground on his sand, "Don't take so long. We still need to take out Orochimaru, and Might Guy"

"Don't remind me! I know that already!"

Gaara left the area leaving Naruto standing over Kakashi, he grabbed him by the collar, "Stand up! This is what the way of the Shinobi has led you to!", he punched him in the jaw and grabbed his head.

"IS THROWING AWAY YOUR HUMANITY FOR THE WAY OF THE SHINOBI REALLY WORTH IT?! LOOK WHERE YOUR SHINOBI WAY HAS LED YOU TO!", he crashed him into the ground, letting go of his head.

"COME ON! STAND UP! LIVE UP TO YOUR SHINOBI WAY! THROW AWAY YOUR HUMANITY FOR THE SAKE OF THE MISSION KAKASHI! COME ON! I POSE A THREAT DON'T I? THEN KILL ME! KILL ME! KILL! ME!"

Kakashi took off his mask weakly, revealing his bloody mouth, "S... Sorry Naruto"

Naruto clenched his fists and grit his teeth, "Sorry? YOU'RE SORRY?! DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH WITH THIS BULLSHIT!", he picked him up by the legs, spun around and threw him in the air. As Kakashi flew across the battlefield, Naruto appeared above him and kicked him in the stomach, crashing him straight to the ground.

He grabbed him by the collar, "AFTER ALL YOU'VE DONE, JUST NOW YOU'RE SORRY?! WHY? TELL! ME! WHY!", Naruto yelled with so much rage in his body, that he hadn't noticed that he was punching Kakashi as he spoke. He stopped his last punch mid way, and instead punched the ground. He kept on punching the ground so hard, that his blood had started to splash around as he punched.

"W-why? Why? Why? Why?! WHY?! WHY?! WHY?! WHY DO I KEEP HURTING YOU BUT I DON'T FEEL ANY BETTER?! WHY AM I STILL ANGRY?! WHY?! PLEASE! TELL ME WHY?!"

Kakashi had lost his vision in his right eye as it was badly swollen and bleeding by the repeated punches Naruto had given him.

"That sharingan", Naruto muttered laying his fingers around Kakashi's left eye, "It doesn't... Belong to you", he gently took the sharingan from Kakashi's eye, leaving him blind.

Naruto held Obito's sharingan in his hand, "This sharingan... Was the reason my parents died... But why did I forgive Obito? Was it because... He redeemed himself? Was it because, I understood him? If so, why isn't it the same with you?"

Kakashi could only hear in one ear, faintly, but he still heard him, "Naruto-"

"This... Borrowed sharingan, was used to kill many innocent lives, and many lives that deserved to be killed. Obito trusted you with that sharingan, but you went against it, and decided to live a life without feelings whatsoever. No feelings towards you comrades, sensei's, or even students. You abandoned it all, because you were in pain. When someone is in pain, they learn from it, not abandon it. That's why you turned out the way you did. When you abandon pain, it's a burden, a burden that will always come back to haunt you. The only way you escaped from that burden was by fighting and killing. Hurting yourself and others to escape from your problems"
