In Fortland, while most places were covered in fallen leaves, was drowning in rain. Heather had always hated rain but wanted to spend time with Ryan who wanted to go out. Dressed in a duffle coat and a grey beanie, she braced herself for the cold that would come.
Outside Heather's house, Ryan stood holding a skateboard and wearing a damp, black denim jacket.
"Coming?" asked Ryan, putting the skateboard on the wet ground and holding his hand out.
"Where we going?" asked Heather, smirking as she wandered towards him.
"Don't answer a question with another question," smiled Ryan, wrapping his arm around Heather's waist and pulling her in.
"We're going skateboarding," smirked Heather, pulling herself out of Ryan's grip and jumping on the skateboard.
Ryan gave a light giggle and stepped on behind her as she spread her arms out in a crucifix position. Ryan took a hold of Heather's waist and pulled her forwards and backwards to avoid causing her to fall, only to fall off himself when he pulled her too far back.
The two lay on the soaking ground, laughing.
Instead of getting up, Ryan rolled Heather into him and held her tightly before looking down to her.
"I love you," murmured Heather, blushing as Ryan lowered his head close to hers.
"I know you do," smirked Ryan, breathing softly.
Heather closed her eyes as Ryan pulled Heather on top of him so she was lying on his damp t-shirt, within seconds, her freezing face was filled with warmth as her lips met Ryan's, he slowly slid his tongue into her mouth, making her smile before lightly biting down on it, causing him to draw back. Heather stood up and smiled, "It's freezing,"
"Aha, I get it if you wanna go inside, I can phone you later," smiled Ryan, standing back up.
"Is it cool?" asked Heather as Ryan picked the skateboard up.
"Sure, I'll walk you the short way back then I'll go home, sort myself out and phone you," said Ryan, wrapping his spare arm around Heather's shoulders.
"I might not answer first time, I'll phone you after I get dried off and changed," smiled Heather, seeing her house come into view.
"Still thinking of applying to Whitton Academy?" asked Ryan, looking at the ground.
Whitton Academy was the university that Ryan had been accepted into to study music.
"Yeah, I mean they have a great music program, maybe we could live around the corner from each other," said Heather, looking at Ryan's face.
"Or, we could apply for a student house together," said Ryan, a slight smile curving his lips.
"That...Actually sounds kinda perfect," smiled Heather, stopping outside her house.
"Yeah?" asked Ryan, letting go of Heather.
"Yeah," said Heather, looking up to the house.

Half an hour later, Heather was inside, changed into pyjamas and on the phone to Cameron.
"I said I'd phone him when I'm ready so I have all the time in the world," said Heather, lying on her bed.
"So I guess it really is perfect?" asked Cameron, through the phone.
"Yeah," smiled Heather, feeling her insides heat up with either happiness or excitement.
"Well, I'm just putting this out there, if you turn into one of those girls who only speaks in the first person plural, imma shoot ya," said Cameron, with a light giggle in his voice.
"If I ever turn into one of those girls, imma gonna give you the gun," said Heather, nodding as she sat up.
"We looooooove the winter," joked Cameron, speaking in a posh English accent.
"We never wear the same clothes twice," laughed Heather, imitating Cameron.
"We only like vintage," replied Cameron, before laughing.
"Well, I gotta go, sort my room out and phone Ryan," sighed Heather, still smiling.
"We never sort our room out," laughed Cameron.
"Oh God, hah, bye," smiled Heather, standing up.
"Bye," replied Cameron, who hung up first.
Heather pottered around her room for a few minutes before phoning Ryan.
And talking.
All. Night.
