FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A WHILE, NOAH TEAMED UP WITH CHRIS AND MELISSA.

The sheriff had been caught up on their searches, being told important details of the murders his department had been trying to solve. They knew it was Douglas committing the horrendous act, killing people and eating their pineal glands located in their brains. But, they still didn't know why.

They tried to figure it out by going to the transformer shed, where the fallen ghost rider still laid. Unfortunately, the three adults failed to realize Douglas decided to stick around. He threatened them with a supernatural whip, because he knew they were close with Parrish. Personally, he couldn't care less about the deputy--he wanted to find the hellhound.

After nearly killing Chris, Douglas got Melissa and Noah to agree. He forced them to lead him to where Parrish hid.

A hidden section of the Argent bunker. It held a chamber that helped Parrish get in touch with his supernatural side, and that aided peace whenever the hellhound found himself overwhelmed. He was locked in a trance when Douglas laid eyes on him, completely unaware of his surroundings.

When the physics teacher headed towards the hellhound in awe, Melissa and the two other men purposely stayed near the door. All of them kept their eyes on Douglas, hearing him mumbling under his breath in German.

Discreetly, Chris reached for his shotgun as Noah reached for a pistol resting on one of the tables. Melissa glanced between them and Douglas, worried he'd catch on before they could make their move.

He fiddled with the dials on the chamber, and the men raised their guns. Douglas heard the faint cocking of a weapon, his body tensing. When his voice hit the air, Chris and Noah froze. "You know what the best part about being a werewolf is?" he questioned them, and whirled around with anger in his eyes. "Supernatural hearing."

Chris fired first, three shots striking Douglas straight in the chest. The lowenmensch fell back, stumbling into a shelf.

"Did you hear that?" the former hunter snapped, and quickly reloaded his gun as Noah kept his poised.

When Douglas straightened his back, a roar escaped his lips. It echoed across the room, but the sheriff wasn't fazed. He shot his gun, a bullet piercing the monster's shoulder. However, he was too close to Douglas to make a difference.

Noah didn't see the whip.

Melissa screamed as her friend disappeared into a thick cloud of smoke. Argent grunted as Douglas shoved him next, harshly against the wall.

Douglas barred his teeth, pressing the shotgun into Argent's chest. The hunter tried to kick him away, wrestling to break free.

Melissa took the opportunity to sprint over to the chamber, and pounded against the glass. "Parrish!" she desperately called out, Chris throwing Douglas back to the ground. "Wake up, Parrish! Wake up!"

Melissa turned to see Chris staring at her with saddened eyes. "I'm sorry," he apologized because he knew what would come next, Douglas rising to his feet.

"No," Melissa shook her head, tears springing into her eyes. "No!"

Douglas flung the whip, striking Argent as hard as he could. Just like the sheriff, Chris disappeared.

"Parrish!" Melissa tried again to wake the hellhound up. The odds weren't in her favor, Douglas facing her with a snarl on his lips.

"That was very brave," he stated, his tone full of mockery. "But pointless."

The nurse's expression hardened, but she didn't turn around. She could see Douglas through the glass and scowled at the sight of his smirk.

"Just crack the whip."
