"That was so unprofessional of you Dr Wright!" Dr. Cullen angrily yelled.

"I'm sorry." Kimberly nervously apologized.

"Sorry? Sorry? We almost lost a patient because of your negligence!"

Kimberly was well aware of the fact that she made a terrible mistake back there in the operating room. If they hadn't struggled to get her full concentration back on the surgery, she would've lost her patient which has never happened before.

"I know I made a mistake and I'm sorry, but I still saved the patient's life. That's what matters." She tried defending herself as she was already in tears because she hated being yelled at.

"Are you even listening to yourself?... I never expected such from you." Dr Cullen said, his voice heavy with disappointment causing Kimberly to feel even worse.

"I'm so sorry," she whimpered hoping Dr Cullen doesn't think differently of her.

He stopped pacing around his office and let out a heavy sigh.

"I understand it was a mistake, Dr. Wright, but imagine how you would've felt if you had lost that patient."

Kimberly would have taken it quite badly knowing that she lost a patient due to her carelessness. She probably would've decided to never perform any surgery. The more she thought about it, the more guilty she felt.

"I know you've been through a lot over the past few months... And you're still recovering..."

"Dr. Cullen...,"

"Let me finish, Dr. Wright." He cut her off, preventing her from saying whatever she wanted to because he was certain she was going to deny what he just pointed out. She had been doing that for weeks now, but he could see right through her facade and knew she was still struggling to get over the death of her fiance.

"I wouldn't want what happened today to repeat itself.."

"It won't, I promise." She interrupted him but immediately apologized when he gave her a pointed look, making her realize what she had just done.

"You're one of our best doctors and I don't want to lose you, so I'll advise you to take a break. It'll help you recover better."

"No, no, no. Dr. Cullen please, I promise to pay more attention from now on." She pleaded because she didn't need a break. She needed something to distract her.

"It isn't a suggestion, Dr. Wright." Dr Cullen said in a serious tone indicating that the discussion was over.

Kimberly gave a weak nod knowing that there was nothing she could say to change his mind.

"Thank you," she quietly said before standing up. She was about to reach for the doorknob when Dr. Cullen's voice stopped her.

"Kimberly... Please take care of yourself," he said, his voice laced with concern.

"I will," Kimberly replied with a small smile before exiting the office.

She got home in tears because now her life is back to how it was when she just got out of the hospital, hopeless and without meaning. Just when she thought she was getting her life back together, her stupid imagination ruined everything.

Great! Just fucking perfect.

She wishes now more than ever that she had died in the woods. That was her final thought before crying herself to sleep.

        ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 Kimberly kept running deeper and deeper into the woods calling for help as the werewolves gained in on her
"Help me, please! Somebody help!" She screamed having no idea where she was running.
It was raining quite heavily, blurring her vision, and preventing her from running any faster. She suddenly tripped and fell, spraining her ankle in the process.
"Please, somebody help me." She prayed as the three werewolves approached her. They looked ready to rip her apart, but she whimpered not knowing what to do.
'This is it. You're going to die she thought to herself as the werewolf in the middle opened its mouth to attack her.
"No!" She screamed, jolting up from her sleep.
She frantically looked at her surroundings and realized that she was in her bedroom and there was a thunderstorm raging outside, this caused her to shiver as she thought about what she had just seen. It was another nightmare.
'When are these nightmares and hallucinations going to end?' She wondered staring at the clock on her nightstand which read midnight.
She climbed out of bed to go shut her windows when something caught her eye. There, at the far end of her bedroom stood a dark figure. The outline of the figure shows it belongs to a male.
'Stop imagining things, Kim.' She mentally cautioned herself, closing her eyes and counting to ten to calm her already freaking nerves.
"Kimberly," she heard her name.
'It can't be, it's not possible. He's dead.' she kept telling herself.
"Kimberly," the voice called again, this time it was closer.
Kimberly refused to open her eyes, praying that this hallucination would end as she was already doubting her mental state. She decided to open her eyes to stop that all too familiar voice from tormenting her any further.
Her eyelids slowly opened and there before her stood the love of her life.
"Roy?!"
Is it Roy or just another hallucination?
