When Daryl and I entered the pub everyone was awake and moving. Glenn sat in a chair rubbing his temples, with Rick, Maggie and Carol sitting around him.

"Why did you guys let me drink again?" Glenn moaned with his eyes closed.

I heard Daryl chuckle with laughter behind me and watched as he walked over to Glenn.

"I think your face might've gotten even more red than last time." Daryl smirked and patted him on the back, causing everyone to laugh hysterically.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see Jane.

"Hey," I smiled to her. "I saw you made a friend last night."

"Rick? Oh yeah, we just talked a bit." She said. "I saw you made more than a friend." Jane smirked crossing her arms.

"Shut up." I said, feeling my cheeks grow hot.

"Hey everyone." I said loudly. "We need to get moving ASAP. Daryl and I went on a run, so we have plenty of supplies. We need to go out and find vehicles to make the trip to Florida easier. Get you stuff packed up quickly so we can get on the road." I looked around at everyone and watched as they nodded and went to pack up their stuff.

I picked up my back pack and walked over to the bar where Daryl was. I raised my eyebrows when I saw that he was packing a bottle of vodka and a couple beers into his backpack.

"What?" He asked when he saw my look. "It ain't gonna hurt nobody." Daryl smirked as he zipped up his backpack and slung it over his shoulder. I rolled my eyes and grinned.

Once everyone packed up their stuff, we met at the front door of the pub.

"Rick," Jane spoke up. "You got a map?" He nodded and pulled a big map out of his backpack, handing it to Jane. "Thanks." She opened it up and turned the map so it faced me. "Amelia, if we go down this road here," Jane pointed to a road on the map and followed it with her finger until she stopped at an intersection. "It will lead to an intersection with another road, the two roads are bigger than most so, there must be some kind if buildings at that intersection. We could probably find some cars there."

"Sounds like a plan." I said nodding, keeping my eyes on the map. "Let's get moving then." I opened the doors of the pub and walked out, with everyone trailing out behind me. I walked in front if the group by myself for the first couple minutes until I heard someone jog up to me.

"Hey," Rick's voice sounded from next to me.

"Hey." I turned to face him. "Carl told me about everything that happened after I left. I'm so sorry." I put a hand on his shoulder and squeezed.

"Everything?" Rick asked slowly.

"I mean, I think so." I replied questionably. "He didn't give me a whole lot of detail but I guess I know most of what happened... Why? What happened that I should know about?"

"Did he tell you about the group we found Daryl with?" He asked. When he saw me shake my head, he continued. "Carl, Michonne and I were staying in this house for a couple of days, and they went on a run without me, so I stayed back at the house. This group of men came to the house and they sounded threatening, so I hid. The only way I was able to get out of the house without them catching me was to strangle one of their men in the bathroom and climb out the window. So I did." Rick paused, running a hand through his hair and scratching his beard.

"After that Carl, Michonne and I found a sign for Terminus. I guess he told you about Terminus?" I nodded for him to continue his story. "We followed the train tracks until we were about a days walk from Terminus, so we set up a camp. Michonne and I were sitting by a fire when I had a gun pointed at my head and one pointed at Michonne's. It was the group from the house. They had been tracking us. Daryl was with them. He tried to tell them that we were good people, but they just beat him for telling 'lies'."

Rick's voice had become shaky. I knew something bad had happened in what he was about to tell me.

"A man got to Carl." His voice trailed off. "He was going to rape him, Amelia. He had him on the ground and everything." I stared at Rick and he continued his story. "I got away from the man with the gun, but he grabbed he so we were face to face. He had me in a hold. A hold that I could only do one thing to get out of... Amelia, I took a bite out of the man's neck. And, and after that I killed the man that was on too of Carl. I stabbed him in the chest so many times... so many times."

I turned away from Rick and just stared ahead. I had no idea what to say. Rick, so it seemed, turned into a crazy man, but he also did it to save his family.

"At least say something." Rick whispered, also staring at the road ahead.

"You were protecting your family Rick. Anyone would've done that." I said, finally looking bad at him.

"No." He whispered, staring at the ground with glassy eyes. "Not that."

"Rick." He looked up from the road and looked at me. "You did what you had to do to survive. You shouldn't feel guilty about it."

Rick nodded slowly and we both looked away from each other once more. We were finally back to the way we should be.

Brother and Sister.

"The intersection is right up there." Jane said from behind me. "I think I see a couple cars too."

We walked for another couple of minutes with our weapons raised, ready to kill anything that comes across our path. I looked to see what kind of buildings were at the intersection. There was a gas station, a sub shop, and a movie theatre.

"We have plenty of supplies, so just go for the vehicles." I spoke up to everyone. I walked over to the movie theatre parking lot and sunk my knife into a lone walker. I looked at the choice of cars in the parking lot. There was a mini van, an SUV, and a small box car. But in the corner sat the car that I definitely wanted.

A red Ford Mustang GT. I could cry it was so beautiful.

I walked over to it, to see that the sides had many scratches and the windshield was covered in dirt and mud. I quickly pulled a bobby pin out of my hair and picked the lock on the car door. Luckily, no alarm went off and I could slide right in with ease.

I have no idea how to hot wire a car, but I had an idea of who does. Before I went to call for Daryl, I walked to the trunk of the car and popped it open.

Just then, a walker jumped out of the trunk and knocked me to the ground with it on top of me. I wrestled around with the walker, trying to push it off of me, but it was too big. It's mouth was inching closer and closer to my face. Right when I thought I was a goner, and arrow went straight through its skull and it fell limp on top of me.

"You ok Am?" Daryl asked, pushing the walker off of me and offering me a hand to get up. I grasped it with mine and allowed him to pull me up.

"Never better." I mumbled, brushing off the dirt from my clothes. "Hot wire the car for me?" I asked politely.

Daryl smirked and climbed in the front seat and began to work with the wires. After about five minutes, the engine roared to life and Daryl got out of the car.

"Your chariot awaits." Daryl said sarcastically, gesturing towards the car.

"Shut up." I said laughing and punching him in the arm. I climbed in the drivers seat and waited for Daryl to get in the passenger side. Once he did, I drove over to the center of the intersection, where everyone else waited with their cars.

We discussed who would be riding with who. Rick, Michonne, Carl, Carol, Beth, and Judith would all ride together in the SUV since it has so many seats, Glenn and Maggie would ride together in an old Ford pick up, and lastly Daryl and I would ride in the Mustang, with me driving of course. After we figured out the arrangements, we were finally on the road again.
