Two days earlier....

A day had passed and it was now Tuesday afternoon on a lovely sunny day.

Due to the piping hot summer that had hit them, the couple sat by the river, Jaeri's head on Jongho's chest.

She felt the sensation of his heart beating beneath her head quite relaxing.

The blue was starting to fade into orange, a cycle that happened each day, but seemed just as beautiful as the first time they had watched it together.

"Jongie. What do you think will happen this time next year?" She mumbled, watching as the sun began to sink below the mountains. "With graduation."

Jongho found himself sighing, eyes drooping at the thought of leaving her. But what was drilling into his brain more, was the fact that San was graduating in two weeks.

How was he meant to live without seeing his best friend - brother - everyday?

"We still have a full year to live to the fullest. I don't see any point in thinking through the worst, when we can live through the best." Jaeri nodded, eyes glimmering with the sheet of glassy tears that lay over her eyes.

"I love you Jongho," she quickly muttered, mind settling slightly at constant thump beneath her head.

All the older could do was laugh. "You day this everyday, and the reply will always be the same. I love you more."

The sun had fully sunken at this stage, leaving the couple in that of a beautiful silence as they watched  each streak of purple in the sky. It looked painted, and perfect.

The small stars shimmered in the night sky, and before the couple had even noticed, the first rain in months hit.

It started with a mere sprinkle, making the couple smile, but as it became heavier and heavier, they stood.

"I LOVE PARK JAERI!" The brunette screamed, tears cascading down his cheeks as Jaeri started to jump up and down.

"I LOVE CHOI JONGHO EVEN MORE!" She yelled, the tears mixing with the rain that fell on her face so gracefully.

She ran a hand through her raven hair, opening her mouth to drink some of the water.

What she didn't notice, was that Jongho had gotten down on one knee.

"Park Jaeri. I can't marry you yet, because we're still so young. But I promise on my life that you will be the woman I marry. Until then, can I offer you this promise ring?" He asked, holding a plain silver band out.

Jaeri had a new flood of tears fall as she nodded vigorously while clasping her hands together and leaning down to match his height on the floor.

"Yes yes yes!" She squealed, the stream of tears never ending as she held her hand out happily.

Jongho pushed his brown locks back, the wetness making it stay slicked off his forehead.

He slipped the ring into her middle finger, the feeling so right.

"I can't wait to get down on one knee in a few years, to offer you my life."
