The day before....

The day before felt like nothing but a dream, the only sign of reality was the silver ring that was on Jaeri's hand.

And so, on this lovely Wednesday morning at school, with the sun shining as if the shower hadn't happened, Jongho had Jaeri pressed against the locker.

But of course, as always, San walked by. The gagging noises commenced, leaving an irritated Jongho and a giggling Jaeri.

"What the hell man? Do you not want us to be happy?" Jongho mumbled, eyes glancing over to the elder boy.

"Herpes..."

Jongho, who still had Jaeri caged between his arms, banged his head against the locker by her head in frustration.

"Not this bullshit again," he muttered, voice muffled by the material of Jaeri's shirt.

"Anyways," San started, mood perked up. "Dad is coming home tomorrow," he continued, using jazz hands to emphasis his excitement. "Does sweet Jaeri want to stay over tonight?" He questioned quickly, eyeing the girl.

Jongho stepped back, watching his girlfriend for an answer.

"I would love to."

Finally school had ended, and the trio made their way out to the car. Jongho was the designated driver, so as they pulled away from the building of hell, they started to sing some songs from the radio to pass time.

"And here we are!" Jongho exclaimed as he killed the engine.

After a short enough journey, they had finally arrived at the house.

God knew that Jongho and San's mother would be overjoyed to see Jaeri after two months.

As they stepped into the warm house, Jongho took the younger's bag from her, leaving it by the door while leading her to his bedroom.

"Don't get too intimate!" San yelled, making Jongho turn bright red.

"Shut the hell up!"

The fading footsteps from San made the brunette sigh in relief.

"He's so annoying....But I love him."

He went straight to his wardrobe while Jaeri sat on his bed, inhaling the scent of her boyfriend happily.

"How's this?" He asked, pulling out a pair of grey sweatpants and a black t-shirt.

"Love it," she cheekily mumbled, jumping off the bed to take the clothing.

She headed to the bathroom to get changed out of the clingy, and frankly annoying, uniform.

Meanwhile, Jongho got changed into a pair of shorts and a white t-shirt. He headed downstairs to get some food for them and San, who would come to the living room to watch a film with them.

"Oh hey," the blonde murmured, taking a sip from his glass of water. "Are you guys gonna watch a movie?"

Jongho merely nodded, trailing over to the older to hug him.

"You can watch too," he replied, head resting on San's shoulder while he wrapped his arms around him. "'Cause I love you, and you're my best friend."

San smiled at this, his heart melting as he too wrapped his arms around the taller.

"I love you too little squirt."

Jongho simply hummed in acknowledgment as he melted into San's touch.

"Now, shall we get this movie fired up?"

The three finally finished their third film, eyes burning at the shining lights at the late hour of midnight.

Of course, Jongho's mother had told them not to, but all she wanted was for her sons to be happy, so when she headed to bed at around ten, she didn't mention how late it was getting.

San stretched his arms tiredly, releasing the loudest yawn possible. All Jongho could do was cringe at his lack of stealth.

Jaeri, on the other hand, was out cold on Jongho's shoulder, her soft breaths fanning against the brunette's neck.

"You really love her don't you?" San asked, watching as his younger brother stared at the ravenette with a look of adoration.

"I do."

San released a sigh, his whole being slumping. He wanted his brother, and his sister figure to be happy, and decided that he would do what it took to make that happen.

"If there is anything you need me to do for you two, just tell me. Even when I lay down on my death bed, I will want nothing more than for you two to be happy," he whispered, eyes tearing up slightly.

He couldn't deny that he was envious of the love they had. He had never been one to settle, and none of his previous relationships had lasted longer than a few months. But he knew that he would do whatever it took to make this ship sail to the sunset.

"Can you make me one promise though?" The blonde asked, a small smile on his face as he forced the tears away.

"What's that?"

"Can I be your best man?"
