Embry and Blake sit in the bed of the truck, watching their house being built. The foundations are in, the framing is up. It's coming together slowly and both of them are bubbling with excitement.

Embry pops a bottle of champagne that his mom gave them. "To us!" He sings, raising his glass of mostly bubbles.

Blake laughs and takes her glass and the bottle, tilting it and filling it properly. She swaps glasses with Embry and fills that one the same way. "Just let me do everything, okay?" She teases, clinking her glass to his and taking a small sip.

He wraps an arm around her, watching the men work. It's overcast, duh, but hasn't rained in a few days, so they're trying to get a lot done. "I wanna put a hottub there." He points to where the porch will be. "And I'm gonna plant some trees there. A nice big tree, so we can make a swing."

Blake giggles. "Oh yeah? I like that idea. I would like some bushes or something there, so we can make dens and things in there with our kids."

"Kids. Again. Are you hinting?" He smirks.

Blake rolls her eyes. "Not anytime soon, buddy, but yeah. I think I definitely want a kid."

"Renesmee growing on you, huh? She has the tendency to do that." He smiles.

She smiles and giggles a little. "She's a cute kid. Shame who her father is."

"I think we should come to terms with the fact you won't ever like him. But at least you and Bella are good now, right?" He says.

She shrugs small. "Getting there. Dad wants us all there for thanksgiving and Christmas, I don't think I can handle either of those."

Embry kisses her temply gently, rubbing her back. "We got this baby, remember. Lemme see it again."

Blake giggles and pulls out her 9 month chip. She's colour coded them, these days; a small piece of tape in different colors indicates what order they go in. Her first set are blue. The next is orange. These ones are purple. Embry rolls it in his fingers, keeping his arm around her shoulders. "We should frame it."

"Not the 9 month one. But maybe the 1 year chip, we can. We better start thinking of what we can buy Flynn as a thank you present, he won't be around much when I hit a year." She says gently; they both know that's not entirely true, he's become a close friend, he and his husband, but still - they won't be relying on him as they sometimes do now.

"We could send them a photo of the house? Rub it in a little that it's just a little bigger than theirs?" He smirks.

"By like 100 Square feet." Blake laughs. "Try again buddy. Come on, we should get back. Dad will have another heart attack if I'm gone too long."

"When does he go back to work? I want a free house again." Embry says.

Blake slaps him playfully and begins to drive, one hand on the wheel with the other in his. "You dirty boy... Next week." She smirks.

He grins. "I think I can wait that long."

"Wait that long? We literally did it this morning." Blake says, rolling her eyes.

He smirks. "See? It's been like 7 hours and I'm coping."

"Oh yeah, well done." She says, turning onto the highway. "Did Alice tell you she has our wedding planned?"

Embry suddenly coughs hard, the air he gasped in at the comment trapped in his throat. Blake bites her lip trying to not to laugh as he composed himself slowly, clearing his throat. "Wedding?" He squeaks.

Blake shrugs. "Yeah. Whenever it'll be."

"I uh..."

"I don't want us to get married yet don't worry. We're only young. And if we do get married, I want it to be all about us. Bella may have been okay palming her wedding off but I'm not." B says, changing lanes.
