It was about 2 am and me and Mattia were driving home.

M: I'm sorry about everything that happened tonight.
Y/n: don't be, it's not your fault. You did what was right and I'm honestly very grateful for you and Alejandro for sticking up for me like that.
M: it's not a big deal really, I would do it anytime. And Alvaro just needs to learn how to keep his mouth shut.
Y/n: well isn't that the truth.

They both let out a small laugh and listened to music for the rest of the drive. They finally pulled up to y/n driveway and Mattia got out to open her door for her.

Y/n: I had a really good time tonight. Thank you for going with me.
M: I had fun too. Also, I know this might be weird to you, but I've been meaning to ask you a question. I was gonna ask earlier but clearly that didn't happen.
Y/n: yes Polibio?
M: I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend. I know we have had our ups and downs, but I really do like you and can't see myself with anyone else. You don't have to say yes, bu-

She cut him off by kissing him, slowly and passionately.

M: I take that as a yes?
Y/n: yes Mattia, I will be your girlfriend.

His heart skipped a beat a little when she said that. He's been waiting to hear that since freshman year. They spent about ten minutes making out and talking, along with laughing about everything that has happened that night. It seemed almost surreal.

It was Sunday, the next morning. Y/n woke up to a knock at the door. It was early, so she ignored it and went back to sleep. 5 minutes later there was another knock at the door so she decided to see who it was. She got up, tripping over all of her clothes from the previous night. She made her way to the door. She opened it to see a smiling Mattia.

M: good morning beautiful. How'd you sleep last night?
Y/n: as soon as I took my shoes and dress off I layed on my bed for about a minute and then passed out. How did you sleep?
M:well I didn't get much because I was up all night thinking.
Y/n: could I ask about what?
M: well, I was thinking about you. I was thinking about how insanely happy you make me and I'm so happy that you are mine now.
Y/n: Aw that's so cute.

She then gave him a quick kiss and they walked up to her room.

Y/n: sooo what do you wanna do today?
M: well I was thinking we could go to the movies and then get ice cream. Do you wanna do that?
Y/n: um of course. I love ice cream. What movie would we see?
M: whichever one you want princess.
Y/n: oh my gosh is THE Mattia Polibio turning into a softie?
M: y/n never say that again

They both let out a chuckle and went down to Mattia's car.

M: So, about last night.
Y/n: what about it?
M: I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for not walking away from the situation. It was dumb of me and Alejandro to do what we did but I wasn't going to let Alvaro talk about you like that.
Y/n: Mattia like I said, it's okay. It's not like you and Ale just randomly beat him up. Plus, I've always hated Jenna and me getting to beat her up was the second best part of my night.
M: what was the first?
Y/n: dancing with you.

He blushed and tried to hide his face as best as he could but it was nearly impossible considering he had a huge smile on his face. The two then spent the rest of the day watching a movie, getting ice cream, and taking some time to really talk about life. It was perfect.
