Y/n pov

Me and Mattia have been dating for four months now and it has been awesome. He's super sweet and caring and actually takes time to listen to me when I'm upset instead of telling me I'm being "annoying". I know I shouldn't be worried because I'm dating Tia, but Ale hasn't been to school in a month and I'm starting to get worried because no one knows where he went. My feelings for Ale completely faded the night after homecoming when me and Mattia went out. I finally have something good and I'm not willing to let anything get in the way of that.

Alejandro pov

It was now March and y/n and Mattia had been dating for four months. Don't get me wrong I was happy for them, but I was also really upset. I love y/n and I think I always will. I decided to go to this training camp thing to help me get my mind off of her. Basically what you do is workout and do a bunch of activities. A big part of why I did come is because if you do a certain amount of activities with the little kids that come here, all your schoolwork is just looked over and you don't have to do it. I was going back to school tomorrow but I was kind of worried. I want to talk to y/n so bad but I don't want things to be awkward. Plus, I've changed a lot. What if she doesn't like the new me?

*the next day*

Alvaro pov

Me and Jenna haven't really talked much in the last few months. She lied about Mattia hitting her, and even tho I really loved her, I can't be with someone who lies about that. I had to break up with her, and today was the day to do it.

Jenna pov

Me and Alvaro haven't been talking that much or seeing each other out of school that much. I understand why but I don't really care. For the past 2 weeks, I've been hooking up with this kid named Vallyk. I love Alvaro, but I couldn't help myself.

Alvaro walked up to Jenna locker to finally break it off. Once she saw him, a smile wiped over her face and her cheeks turned a light pink.

J: hi baby
Alv: hey.

Jenna was confused why he didn't seem excited to see her. But what really was occupying her mind was Vallyk.

Alv: Jenna we need to talk.
J:about what?
Alv: about us.
Alv: I love you but I can't do this anymore. The fact that you lied about being hit is disgusting. I'm sorry but we're done
J: But-

He cut her off by walking in the opposite direction, tears threatening to spill from his eyes.

Alejandro pov

I was finally back at school and I was nervous. When I walked into the building it was around 9:30 which meant passing time to go to 4th period. I walked down the halls getting stared at by a lot of girls. I didn't care tho, because none of them were y/n. I saw Alvaro from a distance and walked up to him. When I finally was within a foot of him, I noticed he was crying.

Ale: wtf happened?
Alv: me and Jenna just broke up.
Ale: wait, you just broke up? As in like, right now?
Alv: yes
Ale: oh.

Alejandro pulled the shorter boy in for a hug and held him tight. He knew more than what he was telling, but he didn't want Alvaro to know just yet.
