We are out in the Deans' driveway. Waiting to hear anything at all. She'll live. She will. Nixx has to.

Wolf is standing with his family, holding onto his baby brother while his mom tries to calm down his sister. Mr. Dean is staring at the garage, waiting. He knows that only one of them will walk out. Bean is holding Sandy as she sobs into his shoulder. Holman is standing beside me, praying that Nixx will be alive.

We're surrounded by police officers. There must be atleast 15 officers here. Several of them have gone into the house, come out clear. 5 of them went into the garage and have yet to come out. There's atleast 10 cops out here with us, blockading the garage. Trying to keep the civilians safe.

That's when we hear it. A gunshot. We all flinch, she didn't even scream. Nixx.. Oh god, no.. Nixx..

I lower my head and hear the howling sobs from Sandy. I can't watch as he walks out of the garage. I face the home across the way, tears strolling down my face. I sink to the ground, my hands are holding my head.
