Reed's POV
Mum started acting different always looking behind her as if someone was watching her, being extra careful about what she says. I just wanna know what's happening. And to he honest it scares me that I don't know. I a, I spending to much time with my friends? Do I not pay attention enough? Oh God I'm am the worst son ever! "Mom" I screamed as I got home "here!" she screamed from the kitchen I assumed.
And I was right she was there in the kitchen eating what seemed to be a double layer red velvet cake. "Come give yo-mamma hug" she said with a fake gangster voice. Chuckling I gave her a bone crushing hug "someone missed me?" she mused giving me her famous death trap hug "yep!" I chirped. Pulling back she sat back down and began eating her cake "mom" I breathed. I can't believe I'm going to do this "yes Reed?" she looked at me "I love you Mom" I smiled at her. I chickened out.
"I love you to Reed" she said with love shining in her eyes, I gave her a kiss on the head and wake to my room. I should have been honest with her I mean she is always honest with me right? My mom always told me to be honest and to only lie when you have to. But I didn't need to lie then, and I don't plan on starting now. Marching from my room and down the hall into the living room where she was watching Tv. "Mom why have you been acting weird lately?" I asked her seriously, she froze.
"Drop it Reed" her voice pleaded "mom" I wanted her. "Reed let it go" she voice warned me back "no Mom I need to know." "Enough Reed" she said strongly leaving no room to discuss "I just wanna help" I mumbled. "And I get that but you don't know what's going on, and it's best you don't" she smiled sadly. I huffed and stomped to my room slamming the door making sure she heard it.
Rea's POV
Reed is starting to figure out something. And I have to stop him, of he finds out that means he will try and stop it. It's bad enough the threats keep coming reminding me of the days that are left. I only have a few months to figure out what's happening to my life.

Short I know. But I have to save all the drama to chapter 18,19,20. I can promise those chapters will be action packed and full of adventure!
