Chapter 12- lying again

Reed's POV
I woke up on my couch with a huge headache and a stiff neck. "Mom?" my voice was raspy from loss of water I couldn't feel her presence or smell her. Throwing the blanket off me I heard paper crumble and I searched for it. When my hand meet the cool surface if the paper I immediately pulled it from the blanket and hastily read it.

I has gone out on a job be back soon!
Mom
Short and sweet. I heard heels clicking against the tiles as I rushed to meet my mom. She wore a lace top with a beige short skirt and black heels. Her cotton candy hair that flowed gracefully past her waist looked beautiful against her creamy ivory skin.

"Mom where were you?" I crossed my arms over my chest and stared at her intensely I saw her gulp "uh...you know handing it with Chance" she blushed. Chance is a closer rouge friend of ours that has helped mom raise me when she was on the job. "Ok" I relaxed as she hugged me. "I have to leave tomorrow and I won't be back for a couple of days to you think you'll manage?" she asked worriedly.

"Yep" I smiled at her "good no parties!" she warned backing from the room then running. Blair walked in "was that mum?" he asked grabbing an apple and biting into it. "Yeah, are the guys here?" I asked getting another blood bag and downing it. "Yeah they are staying the night, Zander on there nerves again" he chuckled.

"When is he not" I wiped my mouth as mom came in eyeing us. "When do the guys get here" she smiled obviously over hearing us "now" Blair said as she changed her looks and sighed. "I hate lying to them" she sighed and slumped from the room. "Mom will be gone tomorrow and the next couple of days" I informed him before greeting the guys.

We settled in the game room for the night, mom snuck out around 12 in the afternoon the next day. Here we go lying again.
