Reed's POV
I started feeling guilty about shunning my mom. I see her face everyday it's pale under her tan skin, she has horrible bags under her lifeless eyes, and she crystal herself to sleep every night. Some nights it's worse than others, I just want to hug her and tell her everything will be ok. But she lied to me.
My mom had never lied to me until that night. And I don't plan on forgiving her anytime soon. Blair sided with me and shunned her to, but somedays I can see the guilt dating him alive. Our friends come over a lot more often than they did, and they see my mom looking like that. So here I lay in bed listening to her heart wrenching sobs, the guilt eating at me.
I heard shuffles, sniffles and paper tearing. Then the scribbling of a pen and then more paper tearing and more scribbling. Needless to say it scared me, but I brushed it off and fell into a deep dark sleep.
Matt's POV
Guilt. It was eating me up. I was guilty because I couldn't save my own mate. I watched her die before my own eyes. Guilty that I didn't spend enough time laying attention to her, if I had maybe things would be different.
Chase's POV
My mates arms wrapped around my neck from behind. "Thinking if her again" she whispered softly "I can't help it" I sighed sadly pulling her against my bare torso. I sit on our balcony each night looking at the stars, praying that she can hear me. Guilt eats my brother, Matt and I alive. Jessica my mate can't even help me, she knows what I feel.
"Chase, she looking over us right now, smiling down on you but you can't see it" she whispered softly looking at the start filled sky with me. Jess has thick brown hair and chocolate eyes, and she keeps me going. She gives me the reason to get up in the morning and be a pack warrior. But that doesn't stop me form being guilty.
Everyone is guilty.
