Azriel burst through the bushes, I whip my head around at the sudden noise.
"Took you long enough," I say staring at him lazily.
His pupils were fully extended almost taking up the entirety of his eyes, his hair wild and tangled in a mess behind him. He stood there gasping for breath as if he had just run the entirety of Valaris. He swiftly approached me eyes moving over my body to search for any injuries.
"I got here as fast as I could. What happened?"
Before I could respond Rhys arrived and took us back to the town house.
The void had entirely disappeared.
A/N sorry for the short chapter and sort of late update I have a lot going on, and a lot of projects happening so I'm get tired a lot more then I used to be and don't have as much time to write as I used to. But I will say this unless I state that's this is abandoned I will continue to post 🙃. My computer is also not working so the quality will not be the best but Oh well am I right.
