Sensei applauded Mike "You're pretty good Mike, you don't just fight with your fist and weapons, you use your head, and that's why you're at the top of my class, right up there with Nico" He said turning his attention to Nico
"Whatever" Nico said steaming and walking away, before he left he turned around and said "This is the first and last time you'll ever beat me Mike, it won't happen again"
Mike ran and caught up with him
"Great fight ay bud". Mike said jabbing Nico's arm with his elbow.
"I'm not your bud,"Nico said, slightly speeding up his walk
"Rival then" Said mike
Nico turned to Mike, with a sharp glare "You're nowhere near my level, I don't want you associating yourself with me ever, now fuck off and leave me alone"
"Ah, ok," Mike said feeling embarrassed, but sensei puts his hand on Mike's shoulder.
"Don't feel bad kid that's just how he is, he'll come around someday," He said shaking his head and smiling
"That's the thing, I don't feel bad, it's just- I don't know," Mike told sensei Jones
After the class ended and everyone was ready to leave it was already dark out. As soon as mike was about to walk out the door, his dad called him.
"Dad" Mike answered the call.
"How are you getting home? want me to pick you up or--?" Mike's dad asked him
"I'll take an uber" Mike answered
"Ok, I'll see you at home" Mike's dad replied and mike hung up the phone.
After waiting outside the dojo Mike's uber arrived, he got on his way home.
In the uber he took out his phone and started texting in a group chat called Atlas, all containing Mike's friends including Olivia.
Mike: Hey guys, I just left the dojo
Jason: Did my dad ask you anything about me?
Mike: sensei Jones? no
Jason: Oh thank God
Jade: Wait, Jason's got daddy issues?
Brandon: Lmfao
Allis: lmao
Summer: lol
The uber reached Mike's house, a beautiful modern mansion. Mike got out of the car and thanked the driver, he then asked if he took tips. The driver said he does. Mike sends it to the driver, the driver was gobsmacked when notification came in.
"Whoa $1000! that's a hell of a tip, thanks dude," The diver said as he quickly drove off, afraid Mike would change his mind
Mike walked up to the massive gate which automatically opened, letting him in. As he walks through the door he was greeted by the digital assistant controlling the house "Welcome home master Michael" the mechanical voice said
Mike's mom walks down the stairs and asked "Well, aren't you going to answer?"
They look at each other for a little bit then both burst into laughter, she hugged him, then pushed him off her saying "You stink, you should go take a shower, are you hungry?"
"No, I ate with the crew, and I'm gonna get a shower now". Mike replied and went on his way up the stairs to shower.
After he showered he got right to his bedroom, it was a big room with a Queen sized bed, a three monitor gaming set up and space for his second favorite hobby V.R. gaming.
His dad walked in on him struggling to put on a skin-tight motion capture suite and mumbled "Oh, your busy?"
"I am, but what did you want me for anyway?" Mike asked
Mike's dad explained "I was coming to tell you, your mom made some nice beef udon, I thought you would like some"
"No, I'm good" Mike replied
Mike's dad left his room saying "ok you can have it for breakfast then"

Meanwhile
In a secret garage filled with modded luxurious cars and a gang of Mexican mechanics working on them.
"Hey boss, we found him, Dead" One of the thugs explained
"Here's what's gonna happen, you're leading this gang now Federico" The boss said as he got up to leave.
"Mr. Ikro sir, I-" Frederico said trying to find the right words
"Don't worry about it, now your little brother has someone to look up to; What's his name, Pablo?" Ikero asked
"Yeah, his friends call him Brandon, I dunno why," Federico said
Ikero turned around to look at Federico with a smirk "Do you remember what I told you about family Federico?"
Federico nodded and answered "yes sir, family comes first".
"You're right" Ikero said "you're right indeed, make sure you take care of this family ok?"
He turned his attention to Fed's gang "Am I right?" He asked
They nodded in agreement
"Keep up the good work Federico, you might be where I am someday" Ikero said as he walked out.
