The next day recovering from the encounter with Ikero they realize they weren't ready, Brandon with a bandage on his head is being taken care of by Allis, Summer is shaken up, Jason and jade practice to get their minds off of it, while Mike keeps his distance from them, replaying what Ikero said to him over and over making him angrier and more stressed.
At school all day Mike couldn't think about anything but what happened last night. When school ended and Mike was walking out, Mitch seeing that he's alone approaches him saying "hey asshole, ima get you back for what you did".
Mike ignores him walking away, Mitch grabs him by the shoulder and turns Mike around to him saying " you ain't got your friends with you now you're acting like a puss". Mike angrily looks at him saying nothing then tackles him to the ground and punches him in the face pummeling him.
Seeing this Nico shout at Mike saying "Mike stop get off him"! But Mike kept going as if he wanted to kill him. Nico tackles and rolls Mike off of Mitch, knowing he was wrong Mike tries to walk away again but Mitch now embarrassed pulls out a push blade and charges at Mike when Nico goes to stop him, getting stabbed in the process. With blood dripping from his side he knocks out Mitch with a punch to the face.
Mike grabs Nico and shouts " call an ambulance".
"They'll take too long". Says Brandon Making his way to them. They carry Nico on their shoulders, bringing him to the car.
In Brandon's car, Mike tries to take off Nico's shirt, almost revealing an odd birthmark but he stops him. Mike tells him "you need pressure on it, to stop the bleeding".
"No need". Nico tells him using magic to quickly heal the wound in front of them.
"How are you doing that". Mike asks.
Nico answers saying"I thought it was obvious, it's magic".
"That's a big secret Ese". Brandon says
"Don't worry, I know yours". Nico says
"Which ones"? Brandon asks
"I know you're vigilantes, those suits you have look high tech, where did you get em".? Nico asks
"We aren't vigilantes and believe it or not I found it in a basement, and if you want in I can't help you". Mike replies
"I don't want in your crazy little friend group, I need your help". Nico says
"With what"? Mike asks
Nico explains to them that he's a part of the M.O.T.H.S vigilante group and that last night their leader got captured and his other teammate got badly injured.
"You're one of the only people I can trust that can help me out here". Nico explains
"Who's the next one"? Mike asks
Franklin opens his door to Mike and Nico, left there by Brandon.
"I need your help, it's Cowl". Nico tells him
"No". Franklin says
"He needs our help, what kind of hero would you be if you ignored someone who severely needs your help". Nico says
"Wait so you did know him". Mike says
"Hold on what's he doing here"? Franklin asks.
"He's here to help". Nico informs him
"Fine get in". he says letting them through the door, "do you know where he is"? Franklin asks
"yeah, Mel found out where he's being kept". Nico tells him
"Do you have a plan?" Franklin asks
"I didn't have time to come up with one, but we have time now until we get there". Nico says
"I have an idea, we should just go and out quietly, no trouble, a stealth mission". Mike proposed
They both look at him with an unimpressed.
"He's new to this". Nico tells Franklin
"C'mon I just want to get this over with I've got my own shit to deal with". Mike says
When it got dark Mike, Nico, and Franklin dressed in dark clothing wait hidden outside a big facility where armed men roam around outside.
"I can take out about two from here causing a distribution and we can sneak in through the back," Nico says realizing Mike is already making his way to the gate.
"What is he doing"? Franklin asks
Mike morphs into his suit and beats up a few of the guards outside single-handedly
"He's making a distraction". Nico says as he runs out casting a spell on his feet to jump on top of the facility, he pulls out the staff of one using it to up the effectiveness of his other spells. He casts an illusion spell making an intangible clone of himself which jumps down a hatch leading inside atop a balcony where men stand shooting at Mike and Franklin, Nico's clone runs pass distracting them from Nico beating them with his staff while Franklin like a ninja wall runs and balance on bar rails with his double Katan fighting the armed men, he uses his mutant ability to multiply himself by two and his second ability foresight to take out more goons. Mike draws attention to himself so Nico can go find Cowl.
Making his way through the facility he barely dodges a sneak attack by an enhanced boy about his age with blades growing out of his arms. Nico turns the ends of his staff into blades he asks the boy " are you a mutant".
He replies "I am Ieven and, this power was gifted to me by Ikero"
"Good". Nico says charging at him
Every attack by Nico is dogged by him but Ieven slices Nico by shooting blades at him. Nico gets tired and unable to stand due to the loss of blood. He uses a healing spell on himself and says "I can't do this all day". I even charges at him but it was an illusion Nico is behind him about to strike him but he dodges grabbing Nico's staff and using blades from his other hand to stab at him but he lets go of the staff to try dodging but his shirt ripped open, revealing a pentagram birthmark on his chest, blood starts running from his chest and he says "Now im Mad". He rips off his shirt and kicks the staff out of the Ieven's hands and turns it into a trident, he slams it on the floor causing it to break apart he lunges at him with powerfully attacking nonstop until he finally impales him through the chest.
Mike and Franklin catch up with Nico seeing the boy on his knees dying
"This is why I left in the first place". Franklin says as the boy starts talking
" you," he points to Mike, you're in danger, Ikero might have gifted me this power telling me he wanted to turn me into him but all he did was have lost souls possess me, corrupting my mind as he did to himself, he's planning to do the same to you". He says with his dying breath as an RPG fly towards them Mike jumps in the way protecting them from the blast.
Recovering from the blast Franklin tells Nico to go get Cowl while they find who shot at them. Getting up from the rubble Mike runs to where he saw the Rpg coming from when he sees another coming at him, so he jumps and grabs the rocket-propelled grenade, dose a side flip to turn it to where it was coming from.
Nico deeper in the facility finds Cowl tied up in a chair but a goon steps out with a gun aimed at Cowl's head. Another one walks up behind Nico mumbling " I've been waiting on this forever". As the other goon shoots Cowl dead, they turn their guns at Nico shooting him to the floor.
Nico laying on the floor looks at Cowl's lifeless eyes as tears fall from his they then turn a fiery yellow and his hair turns to flames, the pentagram birthmark on his chest starts to glow and he rises off the floor as yellow arcs of electricity emit from his trident flying to his hands. He starts to levitate, arcs if electricity emits from his eye as flames rage from his skin burning all his clothes, he shouts "Burn"!
A massive fireball erupts from where he was then making a flame tornado. Mike and Franklin run for their lives as the fire consumes the entire building in seconds.
