Courtney's heart raced. She didn't knows what to do about the dream, about her thoughts, about him. What could she do? It's not like she could effortlessly remove it from her mind forever. She gulped, staring at Olivia's nickname on the screen. She had already asked to call, she couldn't just back out now. Screw it. She called Olivia.
--
"Hey, so why'd you need to call me?" Olivia questioned, worrying about her dear friend.
"It uh- I had a dream," Courtney responded, slowly letting the words spill out of her mouth. They went silent for a bit.
"About... Damien?" Olivia asked, though clearly knowing what the answer was.
"Yes, about Damien."
"Spill the dream, Court."
Courtney took a deep, audible breath, then let the stress exit her body through her airways. Time to spill, Courtney. Time to spill.
Courtney's POV
Here we go I guess. Spill the dream.
"So I was at the park near my home, sitting on a bench. I turned my head to see Dames right next to me.", I started.
"And then..?"
I took a deep breath, then continued telling the dream. "I questioned why I was here, and it turned out that I was here with him on a..."
"Date."
My heart pounded. Letting out those words made my heart beat millions of times in an instant. A long silence flooded the call, feeling like it had been lasting longer than an eternity. This wasn't even the worst part.
"Go on," Olivia requested, interested in what events would take place next. Here we go again.
"I asked some more questions, and so did he. Eventually the conversation ended in an exchange of "I love you"s, but that wasn't all. Afterward, I had a third person view with no control of events and-"
"We kissed."
It felt like the silence had been going on for ages. What did Olivia think? How would she respond? Then, she finally responded after what seemed like forever.
"Then it ended." she responded.
"Mhm, that's that. What am I supposed to think? What does this mea-" she then cut me off.
"Courtney, don't worry. I'm here for you. You don't need to think about it. It's only a dream. I'm sure this happens all the time with people, it doesn't mean it will happen. I love you, Courtney, and I'll always be here to support you. Just talk to me about Damien stuff, and maybe tell some other people too, like Mari or even Shayne. They'll understand."
"Thank you. That meant the world to me, Olivia. If I could hug you and squeeze you tightly right now, I would. Thank you."
That was a massive relief. We ended things there, and I went on with my day. Maybe I'll eventually tell Mari, or even Sohinki. Haven't thought of Sohinki or talked to him in a while, I should check up with him and the others in a bit. Let's think this through.
So Olivia knows, maybe I could tell Mari, what about Keith or Noah? I feel like they might tell others, so maybe not. Ian? Probably not the best when it comes to this stuff between co-workers. Shayne's looking like a pretty good option so far. So then I'll tell Mari, then Shayne. Hopefully they'll understand.
I'm glad to have friends to support me whenever.

Hey everyone! Had this draft pretty empty for a while, so staying up past 1 am Cayla is back at it again. Haven't had the time to write lately, but now I do! Sorry if this is a bit shorter or lower quality, no cliff hangers or anything tonight. However, I have something better planned for future chapters. As always, answer the QotC if you want!
QotC #6: Who do you believe should be told next?
Thanks to all my readers for checking out this story, and I promise this'll be a great story! Expect 2+ chapters to be published at a time more often, as I'll do that unless I really need to get at least one chapter out.
Another question is: What day do you think chapters should be posted weekly?
Once a day is decided, I'll stick to that unless I need the time to myself. If so, I will most likely inform you a day in advance, on the day, or after the day. If one doesn't come out on time, it's because of some things I need to take care of IRL.
Once again, thanks for reading!
