It all started in the second grade. I walked to my new classroom at my new school with a strange yet, welcoming environment. There stood a girl tall for her age with curly black hair. "Hello" the girl shouted loudly. " I'm your new best friend, Emily O'brien. I stood there looking very confused, I could tell every one already knew each other. So the teacher gave me a shove and showed me around the class room. Emily stood there in a daze just staring at me. After a quick tour around the room I sat down next to Emily with a large smile on my face. When I was younger my mom told me to always start a friend ship off with a nice smile. She gave me a pretty big smile back, " I'm really glad we're friends". " me too, I said with a smile. From there on out we we're inseparable. We probably spent ever minute we could together. I'm glad we were friends because I never kept many with me and my parents always moving around. My mom died two weeks before I started second grade. I managed to move on pretty quickly, I had my dad who was always there for me. Growing up, I would always go to Emily's house she lived with her mom dad and her older brother. I still remember that first time walking in her house. As I looked up the stairs there stood a boy about one or two years older than me, " Hi, I'm Emily's older brother dylan he said in a happy voice". The O'brien family was always happy as if they drank unicorn spit every Morning. I couldn't focus on any thing but Dylan and his brown eyes and lushes brown hair. He totally knew I liked him and from then on out, Emily made fun of me for it. But I didn't care. The days went on and on as I fell deeper into the crush on Emily's brother, I know he did did to. On my first day of high school it was me, a little freshman in a high school with at least s

ix-hundred students. Dylan, who is a junior always drove us to school. As I got ready to but on my shoes I heard the familiar noise of his pale blue jeep honking the horn and Emily shouting out the window " come on Cassie it's not a Fashion show. " I'm coming, I'm coming" I shouted in a worrying manor. As I ran out the door I grabbed my bag and let my dad kiss me on the forehead as he waves out the door to dylan and Emily.
