"What the hell is this place?"

Every inch of New Nirvana received a disgusted scowl from Pixie. This realm was a cheap knock-off of her home. The imitation generated a surge of anger inside of her that demanded an outlet.

An impish grin appeared on her face the moment she found it. WormHole glared at her with malicious intent, but the feeling was mutual. Her heart leaped as soon as she saw her father's scythe wedged between the alien's jaws. She was going to make it her mission to rip that scythe away from it. She didn't care how many of its fangs she broke in the process.

As Pixie stirred in an ocean of vindictiveness, Joe walked on the shores of wonder. The beauty of New Nirvana was captivating. He adored the orange glow that painted the exposed flesh on his arms, neck, and face. His wonder waned when he saw WormHole, however. The alien was always freakish to him, but it currently wore an expression that would give him a lifetime of nightmares.

"You don't belong here Time Keepers!" boomed WormHole, "This is my realm. Here, you are the aliens."

"He created an alternative nirvana using Father Time's scythe" said Sheep standing beside Joe's knees, "This must have been his goal from the very beginning. But why create this place?"

WormHole scoffed at Sheep's pondering, "Isn't it obvious? The liminality of this plane ensures that only I have access to it. Of course, I'll need to get rid of you since you're able to enter my realm."

"Does anyone else find it weird that WormHole wants to create a realm that no one else can enter? But he just comes and goes through everyone else's dimensions?!" asked Joe.

"It's because he's a coward" said Pixie, "He wants to destroy dimensions, and then hide where no one else can reach him."

BlackHole stepped away from the reactor core. The absence of Inertia among the three disheartened him. It seemed that the Time Keeper accepted the end of her world. Yet, he questioned why her friends were here.

The only way they could have known about the plan was from her. It was unreasonable to believe that she accepted her demise, if she gave her friends the information needed to interfere with WormHole's plan. What role was Inertia going to play in this fight?

"Stand back," said WormHole, "Begin fueling the reactor core. I'll take care of these pests."

"I can't do that. You're not healthy enough for battle," argued BlackHole.

WormHole floated ahead pushing BlackHole back with the end of its tail, "Follow my orders! Remember that you are the trigger. There is no nuclear black hole bomb without you."

"Besides," continued WormHole, "I have a vendetta against that pink-haired girl. While it was my goal to see her perish in a void of darkness, I think I'll settle for dismembering every part of her with her father's scythe."

Reluctantly, BlackHole approached the reactor core. His hands hovered over the reactive isotopes swimming in the odorless liquid of the core. The purple aura that killed Winter and nearly killed Father Time cloaked his fingers, then his hands, and then his arms.

It twisted and curled into the reactor core. He watched as the hexagonal grids disintegrated and the brass pipes deteriorated into dust. Only a pool of highly reactive liquid bubbled inside of the reactor core.

Joe gripped the lid of his jar as soon as he spotted the black-body radiation emitting from BlackHole. Veins bulged on the outside of his hands. He knew how lethal that attack was, but he also had a defense against it.

"Why?" asked WormHole snaking over to them, "Why show up now? Your timing is a little too perfect."

"You might want to ask the guy behind you," said Pixie with a smirk, "He told your entire plan to a fellow Time Keeper, and she relayed the message back to us."
