Summer lowered his hand and examined the massive flames that burned in front of him. A smiled almost crept onto his face before he noticed that the fire pushed back towards him. Summer reacted quickly, and threw Winter to the side. A direct hit from those flames would have killed his fellow Season instantly. In a last ditch effort, Summer crossed his hands in front of his chest and braced himself.
"Entropy!" shouted Pixie.
A rush of chaos sent the flame right back at Summer. The force of the attack lifted him off of his legs and hurled him away from the edge of the hill and back into the road. He crashed into the asphalt and gritted his teeth.
Back at the base of the hill, Pixie pointed the blade of her scythe at Winter. By her feet was Joe, who gulped large amounts of air. Pixie wore a scowl momentarily, and then curled her mouth upwards into a smirk,
"Joe. I'm going to handle Winter. You deal with Summer."
"Are you crazy?! This is my first day on the job! Shouldn't a manager handle that kind of responsibility?" said Joe.
"If I'm the manager, then you're the assistant manager. So, this is your job" replied Pixie.
"Wait... are you saying I got a promotion?" said Joe with an open smile.
Joe scurried to his feet and rubbed his hands together,
"I can't believe I got promoted on my first day! Do I get my scythe now?"
"Master your entropy and your scythe will appear. Also, here's a pro-tip. Use entropy to deflect Summer's fire attacks and keep your distance! I'll take out Winter, and when I'm done with him, I'll rush over and we'll double team Summer. Good?" asked Pixie.
Joe nodded his head,
"Perfect."
Before Joe finished his sentence, Pixie took to the skies and flew towards Winter, who looked back at Summer with a frown.
"Come on, bro. I know you're not shaken up by your own flames!" said Winter.
Pixie slashed downward with her scythe. Winter created a frozen pole and blocked her attack without turning away from Summer. Pieces of ice chipped off the pole and flew into the air.
"Spring and Autumn won't save you this time," said Winter.
He turned to Pixie and gasped as she held her open palm in his face.
"Entropy!" shouted Pixie.
Winter's body violently flew into the air. Pixie carefully watched his soaring body and leaped back. She noticed a change in the trajectory of Winter's body.
"Here he goes again" said Pixie.
Winter covered his body in a block of ice, shaped like the end of a drill, and twisted towards Pixie at the speed of a hundred revolutions per second. Even so, Pixie didn't move an inch. A green aura began to glow around her body.
Summer brushed himself off and raced down the hill at Joe. He took a second to reconsider his plan of attack because he was uncertain of what Pixie's next move would be. But, Summer decided that he could disrupt Pixie's impending attack by targeting her apprentice.
"You better move! The ground is hot!" said Summer as he pitched a fireball towards Joe's feet.
Joe saw the ember sphere and threw out his hand.
"I really hope this works, Entropy!" shouted Joe.
A blast of disorder shot out of Joe's hand and split the fireball in half. The two sides flew around Joe and landed onto the green grass to his left and to his right. Completely stunned, Joe looked at his hand and caught a glimpse of the green aura in his palm that quickly faded away.
