I see you

I see you
For the first time in forever
And my mind cleared like it hadn't been since the moment I last saw you.
I saw you and I wanted to fall to my knees in happiness.
Your smile stretched across you face and I knew this was where I belonged.
And that was hard for me to realize
Because you aren't always here for me to touch.
You are the glue that keeps me together
And seeing you today was like
I forgot to be whole until now.
I saw you and it's like the past two years didn't exist.
At least for a little while.
I see you one time
And my life is flipped upside down
And I believe that's how I've always be programmed to be.
Upside down
Not knowing which way is up
thrill racing through me.
I see you and I see how long it's been
I see the maturity in your eyes
And the passion on your lips.
It was wonderful to see you again.
I want to see you more.
Seeing you was like finding something you forgot you had and realizing it's more important to you then you thought when you lost it.
Do you know all the muscles I had to restrain in my body not to jump in your arms.
There is no way I can go back from tonight.
You got me.
I went in there so confident you wouldn't get to me.
Then you touched me and I realized you've always had me.
This whole time.
I see you.
And
I love you.
