I've made a lot of mistakes.
And I'm afraid you're one of them.
But how can a mistake feel so right?
How can you love a mistake?
How can you walk away from something you've known for so long?
We were like the weather, me and you.
I would rain and you would bring out the sun to show me I could make a beautiful rainbow if I put my mind to it.
Somedays You would hold me in your arms and they would consume the budding anxiety in my chest and leave butterflies fluttering in my stomach.
But sometimes I wondered if I would ever get out of your grasp. If I tried to pry my way out of your steal grip if you'd loosen your hold so I could breathe.
I realized that it's not normal to want to get away from something you care about. Someone who is supposed to mean the world to you.
How can you want to stay and leave at the same time?
How can you trust but not?
How can you feel so comfortable but yet so uncomfortable in someone's arms?
My worst mistake was loving you.
Or was it thinking about letting you go?
