Lexa and Aden went together to see a judge while Clarke went back to the hospital to arrange the placement of Aden's mom's body. After that was taken care of Clarke headed back to the hotel where she went to pack all of Aden's things as well as his moms things to be flown back to California. When that was finished Clarke headed back to her own hotel room to pack her things and then to Lexa's to do the same. Finally Clarke called Octavia and explained to her everything that had happened and told her to let the rest of the station know and that the 3 would be back in town later that evening.

Finally Lexa and Aden finished up at the courthouse and went to the hotel to meet up with Clarke in Lexa's room where everyone's things were. Clarke got Aden some fresh clothes from his suitcase while Lexa explained the details of the legal process. Basically Lexa was granted temporary custody of Aden for the next month but they would have to appear in front of a judge again in California next month before they proceeded further. When Aden was changed the 3 headed to the airport to catch the last flight of the day back to California.

Aden passed out on Clarke's shoulder, giving Clarke and Lexa time to talk. "So will he stay at your place?" Clarke asked, unsure of Aden's living situation. Clarke's question unfortunately reminded Lexa that her living situation probably wouldn't be the best for Aden. She still didn't have a permanent home and was living in a hotel back in California.

"Shit." Lexa grumbled, closing her eyes and shaking her head angrily. "I forgot I didn't have a good place."

"Hey it's ok Lex." Clarke reassured her, moving her hand to rest on top of Lexa's, careful not to wake up Aden who was resting his head on her opposite shoulder.

"Clarke I didn't think this all the way through. I need a house. What am I going to do?"

"Hey look at me Lexa."

Lexa turned her head to look at Clarke's always comforting blue eyes. "You and Aden Can both come stay at my mom's house. You can stay in the guest room and I'll help Aden fix up my old bedroom."

"No clarke, I could never ask you or your mom to do that." Lexa frowned, shaking her head no.

"You didn't ask Lexa, I'm offering, just like how you are offering to take in Aden. I promise you my mom won't mind and Marcus certainly won't either. I'd offer my own home but I live in a small studio apartment when I'm not at the station. I think my mothers house will be much more suiting."

"Thank you." Lexa said, giving Clarke a small but genuine smile. Lexa had always known that Clarke was a kind person but allowing her and Aden to live in her childhood home and also helping out Aden? It was a lot to process. Exhausted from the long day she had, Lexa slowly closer her eyes and drifted off to sleep, resting her head against Clarke's shoulder, who didn't mind at all, having two of the people she cared for the most, resting on her shoulders.
