Darkness. Complete and utter darkness."Hello!" I shout. "Why...Why did you lie to me?" i heard a voice call out. I shot my head around to see a little girl who reminded me of myself when I was younger. "Why did you lie to me?" she repeated only this time tears ran down her face harder and faster.I was shocked and confused. I turned around only to be stopped by another body. My mothers. She looked to be about my age. "How could you." she said. I was shocked by those words. Her ember eyes never met mine, she just looked over my head. "How could you." It was almost like a record.
"How could you." just replayed echoing throughout the eternal darkness.
I slowly backed around. I didn't know what to do, tears welled up in my eyes.
I felt like they were talking to me,
But why?
Why were they saying those things?
I suddenly backed away into another body and I turned and took a step back. I gasped.
Azula.
But how, why. She walked forward and right through as if I was nothing but a spirit. She stopped in front of my mother. "You your nothing but a burden, a mere disgrace." she exclaimed. I froze I felt like I couldn't move. I couldn't control my body. I had so many questions that over filled my head. "Mom." I whispered. My mother and Azula's head snapped back to me. Their eyes nothing but darkness. Suddenly the crackling sound of fire echoed in the darkness and out of nowhere blue fire came straight at me. I let scream. when the fire vanished,
They were gone.
~~~
I gasped as I shot straight up only to be sitting on my bed. I sighed in relief, 'it was only a dream' I thought. An sudden sharp pain was felt on my shoulder. I grabbed it with my left hand, sudden flashbacks from last night came rushing through my mind. It had happened so fast it was all still a blur. I got out of bed and wrapped a clean bandage around my shoulder. I should probably see Korra for healing but I don't want to be a burden she has so much on her plate. I tossed on my clothes and grabbed I gym bag and headed for the door.
I made my way to the court yard where Korra was stomping in my direction. She stopped in front of me and just sighed.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Just terrific." I could hear the sarcasm in her voice.
"What happened this time?" I rolled my eyes.
"Tenzin expects to be patient but I don't have time for patience." she started. "This airbending stuff just isn't working for me.'' I could tell she was stressed. I placed a hand on her shoulders and felt her relax.
"I'm sure you'll figure it out." I say. " you always do." She gave me a weak smile and walked inside.
I made my way to the arena and walked inside. I opened the gym room's door and my emerald eyes met beautiful ember ones.
Mako made his way in front of me, only inches apart. He towered over me and spoke. "What are you doing here."
Before I could say anything Bolin stepped in between us and faced Mako wrapping an arm around my shoulder.
"Relax Mako, I invited her." the earthbender explains. Bolin led me to a bench but before I could get to far I turned to Mako and gave him a devilish grin before turning my attention back to where we were headed.
"Did you forget she's on our opponents team." Mako utters making his way beside the bench. "She's probably just trying to find our weak points."
"Lighten up, Mako. I'm not that bad." I declare.
