EMMA LOOKED UP AT the building she would now be calling her second home. She took a deep breath, shoving her hands in her pockets. She finally gained the courage to walk into the building.
She looked around at the hecticness, people rushing around, grabbing papers, and on the phone. She walked up to the front desk, and read the woman's name tag.
"Sergeant Platt?" Emma asked.
"Yes?" The woman asked, not looking up.
"Um, my name is Detective Emma Cameron. I'm the new detective for Intelligence." Emma introduced herself, and Trudy finally looked up and looked up at the girl.
"Emma Cameron?" She asked, and Emma nodded, "I've heard about you. You're the detective who took down that whole gang, right?" She asked.
"No, it was a team effort," Emma answered with a shy smile.
"Oh, well, whether it was a team effort or not, you still had a big part in taking them down." Trudy smiled. Emma smiled brighter, and Trudy walked out from behind the desk to buzz her up. They walked up the stairs, and Trudy got all their attention, "There's his office." She pointed to the back office, and Emma smiled and thanked her.
All the others in the room watched the girl walk down towards Voight's office. She knocked, ignoring all the eyes. He looked up, "Hi, I'm-"
"Emma Cameron, yes." He nodded, "Right, sorry. Forgot you started today." He chuckled.
"It's okay." She smiled, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.
"Well, let's introduce you." He stood up, and she stepped aside, letting him exit first, "Everyone, this is Emma Cameron. She is the new detective in Intelligence." She smiled and waved at all of them.
"Nice to have a woman around here." The other women spoke, "Erin." She smiled, and Emma smiled, shaking her hand.
"You can take that desk." Voight pointed to the desk next to Jay's, "You'll be partnered up with Antonio." He pointed to the guy across from her. Emma smiled at him, and he nodded back to her. Voight nodded and walked back into his office.
"Jay." The guy next to her introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you." She smiled, shaking his hand.
"Adam." Another guy introduced himself, walking in front of her. Emma smiled at him too, shaking his hand.

"Hey, Er. How do I look?" Davina asked. Nadia had gotten a job elsewhere and Erin had gotten Davina a job working at Intelligence.
"Great," Erin told her.
"Great. Well, I'm ready to go. Where do you want me?" Davina asked.
"You know this is the back entrance, right?" Erin told them.
