EMMA AND JAY HAVE started hanging out more, outside of work. They weren't dating. They were just in the early stages of friendship. Erin had already claimed to be the "captain of their ship."

"So, Erin has told me, on multiple occasions, how perfect we would be together," Jay told Emma as the two got their cups of coffee in the break room.

"That's nice." Emma smiled, not knowing what to say.

Emma and Jay walked into the precinct, talking to each other, "Hey! You two, over here." Platt called both of them over, "Go. Go, scoot. It requires no more explanation." She shooed Sean and Kim away.

"Hey." Emma smiled at Kim.

"Hey." Kim smiled, following after Sean.

"Got word from headquarters. You're both up for mandatory firearms requalification. Get to the shooting range by Friday." She told them.

Emma and Jay walked up the staircase up to the bullpen, "Now, from what I heard Erin beat you out last time." Emma joked.

"I believe the operative words here are "last time." He defended as he scanned his hand.

"I got my money on you, girl." They heard Trudy shout from the desk.

"Okay." Emma nodded, not knowing what to say, so she nodded. Jay held the gate open for her, and they walked up to the bullpen. When they got there, they saw Voight's office door shut, and three other people with him, including Commander Fischer.

"What's going on in there?" Emma asked, putting her jacket on the back of her chair.

"Commander Fischer came in with Alderman Becks and his wife, then shut the door. Now you have all the information I have." Antonio explained walking out of the break room with a mug of coffee.

"Allison Becks, 16 years old. Last seen with her friend Hayden Tannenbaum. They were supposed to go back to the Becks' house after a study group. Neither showed." Emma explained, looking at the two girls' pictures on the board.

"School records do show that both of these girls are in all AP classes and got straight As. Study groups' plausible. Maybe they are jammed up." Erin continued.

"Allison's dad woke up to an email this morning from Uber saying she booked a car in his account last night," Antonio said.

"What the hell's an "Uber"?" Al asked.

"It's like a taxi, but you get a black car," Antonio explained.

"So why didn't you say "black car"?" Al asked, still confused.

"It's not just black cars, it's regular cars too. It's an app. You order it on your phone. It's got all your credit card information." Adam explained. Al didn't look interested, "Never mind. I'm gonna call the company, see if I can get in touch with the driver." Adam stepped away from his desk.
