Adrien was lost. He had no idea what to do, Marinette was a stubborn girl, that's one of the things he loved about her. She would admit to things when she knew she was wrong, but she also cared strongly about her own opinion and trusted herself.

Kagami had dehumanized him completely. She made it seem like that's all people saw in him, money, fame, and a handsome face. But now he was really starting to see that that's all she saw him for. She didn't give others a chance, always assuming they weren't good enough for her.

Kagami was a smart girl, but she was just so jealous and had too many trust issues. He tried to help her, he really did. But he had given up a while ago, she just wouldn't change. And she didn't want to either, that's what made it so difficult.

He had tons of missed calls from her, countless text messages and voicemails... He didn't know what to do anymore. He figured Marinette needed her space, maybe she'd give him a chance to explain himself when she wasn't as angry.

Besides, he needed a break himself. He heard a gentle knock on his door before it opened. "Adrien, a classmate told me to give this to you." Nathalie said, Adrien didn't even care to open his eyes."Just put it on my desk, thanks Nathalie." He said as he heard the door close.

Getting out of his chair and walking over to his desk, his lips parted. It was the hoodie he had given to Marinette when it was raining. He narrowed his eyebrows, picking up the soft fabric as the sweet scent of her perfume penetrated his nose.

He wish he could just escape somehow, leave his room and forget all his responsibilities. He decided to take a shower, he needed some source of relief. He needed a break, an escape from reality. Grabbing a towel and opening his bathroom door.

The moment the warm water ran down his back, he felt a slight decrease in stress. He really hoped he could fix all this.

Stupid Adrien made it so hard for her to ignore him. His face looked so innocent and she was beginning to think he was telling the truth when he said he wasn't some type of womanizer. Alya didn't agree with her and told her she probably shouldn't trust Kagami.

And there was apart of her that knew Kagami was lying. But she was being too prideful for her own good. Maybe it was just an excuse for her to get away from him, no matter how hard it was. She was just the daughter of a baker with a dream.

He was the son of the Famous Fashion Designer Gabriel Agreste, who modeled for his father's company and he was on almost every billboard in Paris. It was just too good to be true, he met models everywhere, girls who were so much prettier then her.

No one thought she was good enough for him, so she had convinced herself that she wasn't. She opened her locker to reveal a beautiful red rose, with a tag in Adrien's handwriting: Sorry Blue, but red's traditional.

A small smile spread across her pink lips, well, before Alya scared the living shit out of her with just a tap on her shoulder. Marinette shook, taking a deep breath to regain her composure once she realized it was just Alya. "A red rose? How romantic~" the brunette teased.

Marinette sighed and grabbed her things before closing her locker, "Yeah, I wonder how many times he's done this for a girl." She said and Alya pouted her lip, "Come on, just kiss already! I need my ship to be canon!" Alya whined and Marinette laughed a little.

"Sorry to burst your bubble but, we're never going to kiss." Marinette stubbornly said as she and Alya walked to class, "I guess time will tell. But I'm sure he'll get at least one kiss out of ya." Alya argued, "The chemistry between you two is pretty obvious."

"Speaking of chemistry..." Marinette spoke, "We're going to be late for class if we don't run for it." Alya paused, "Okay, on three. One... two..." Before she could finish counting Marinette booked it, "Sorry Als! Can't afford another late ticket!" She called as Alya chased after her.

When people noticed the rose in her hands, with a note in his handwriting, she was getting glares everywhere. She felt so insecure, as people eyed her and made judgemental remarks like, "Why is Adrien wasting his time on her?"

"She's not even that pretty."

"Isn't she the daughter of a baker?"

"How could a guy like him, go for a girl like her?"

"I'll give her some credit for her body, he's probably just in it for the sex."

"He's probably just bored."

"An outfit like that can be found at a dollar store..."

She heard giggles around her, and suddenly it felt like everyone was against her. She felt a tap on her shoulder, and she turned around to find Adrien. He immediately noticed the tears in her eyes, his nervous expression forming into a concerned one.

"Marinette, what's wrong?" He asked, she looked away from him, closing her eyes. "Please, just leave me alone..." She whimpered, on the verge of tears. She walked away before he could say anything else.

"At least she knows she's not good enough." Adrien heard someone say, he frowned and turned to the direction he had heard it from. A group of girls standing not so far away and he walked closer to them, hearing them whisper about him coming.

"Are you an idiot?" He asked.

The girl he was looking at paused, being at a loss for words as she heard her crush say that to her. "W-what?" She whimpered, he glared at her. "I asked, if you're an idiot." He said, with a more annoyed voice then before.

"I..." She stood there, (like an idiot) and kept her mouth shut. "Why are you so quiet now huh?" He asked, "Just a moment ago you were saying that the girl I love wasn't good enough. Why don't you say it again?" She looked down, not daring to look him in the eyes.

"I... I'm sorry." She apologized and he stepped back, "I'm not the one you should be apologizing to. Next time, keep your mouth shut and don't be such an idiot." he spoke harshly, his words hurting her, but he was so angry he didn't care.

He was drifting further and further away from Marinette, to the point where she didn't want him around. How could she when everyone was criticising her about him liking her. It was stupid, and frankly, those girls were getting on his nerves.

If Marinette wanted space, that's what he would give her.

For as long as he could...
