Kagami sat down with Adrien on one of the park benches, crossing her legs and batting her eyes as she stared at his overwhelmingly handsome face. "So, why'd you ask to meet me here?" She asked, and Adrien sighed as he looked down at her.
"Kagami, I really need to know what happened at the party. I need an honest answer, please." He said, and Kagami rolled her eyes. "I already told you, you were drunk, so I took you upstairs so you didn't do anything stupid. And then you started kissing me."
Adrien furrowed his brow, "You told me I was the one that pulled you upstairs the first time." He said and Kagami hesitated, "I... I meant that I took you upstairs." She said, looking away from him and remaining stubborn.
"Kagami, I know you're lying. Marinette told me everything." Adrien was indeed lying, and he'd gladly admit it after he set the trap, but he needed to know. Kagami wasn't being honest. He was surprised to see her usually pale face a few shades red with anger.
"Then why are you asking me?!" She shouted, he sighed. "I just wanted to see if you'd be honest." He said with a sigh, knowing that this exact sentence would make Kagami even angrier then she already was as she stood up from the bench.
"I am being honest! The only reason I kissed you was so she could see that she'll never be enough for you!"
Bingo.
"So that's why you kissed me? Kagami you know exactly how much I love her!" Adrien said, standing up from the bench as well, Kagami looked back at Adrien. "She's the daughter of a baker Adrien." She said while snickering
"She's a nobody so she's probably just mooching off of your money! She doesn't deserve your love." Kagami said crossing her arms. That was it... That was when Adrien snapped. How dare she say that about her, she didn't know anything about Marinette!
"A nobody?" He said, standing up as he clenched his fists to the point where his knuckles turned white. His anger was seething. "So that's what this is all about... If I was a nobody Kagami, would you still love me?" He asked, looking down at her.
"Aren't you the one that's been mooching off of me? Just because I'm rich and a model, does that all of a sudden make my value greater?! If Marinette was just as rich as both of us, would that make her 'deserve my love?' would that finally satisfy you?!"
Kagami sat there, looking to the side with her arms crossed. She didn't want to accept the fact that she was dead wrong. "I can't believe you... This whole time, all you've done is make things worse..." Adrien said, that caught Kagami's attention.
Her lips parted, eyes widening slightly as she frowned. "The moment I saw you at Chloe's party..." Adrien said, his eyebrows narrowing slightly as he stopped clenching his fists. "I realized that..." He looked up at his old friend.
He remembered each time she told him that the people he met were only interested in him because he was rich. Or because he was a model. Each time she had ignored people that were a lower class, as if they didn't deserve the right to speak to her.
"I didn't miss you..."
He could see her eyes begin to gloss with tears. Adrien walked away from Kagami and out of the park, he couldn't believe that's how Kagami thought of people. And maybe he just didn't see it back then, she was his only friend.
But he could see it now.
Kagami made sure Marinette saw her kiss him, it shattered his heart to pieces. Marinette had seen them kiss and that's probably why she was so upset. Everything was going so wrong...
The only good thing that could come out of this... Was that she cared for him. She had to have feelings for him or else she wouldn't have been upset. He had to find another way to see her. It's not like he could just ask if she wanted to hang out.
If he asked Nino to ask Alya and Marinette to meet him somewhere, Marinette probably wouldn't wanna go knowing that he would be there. So I guess it was going to be incognito for him, as for Kagami...
She sat on the park bench with her mascara running down her cheeks, balling her fists that she had in her lap. She hated Marinette with every part of her body. This couldn't be the end! She had still seen Adrien and her kiss, she had seen it this time, not just heard it.
Kagami was confident Marinette would believe that her and Adrien were together, and that would hold her off for a little while. Until then, she had to come up with something else to stall them until their relationship was eventually destroyed.
Either that, or she could wait until Adrien and Marinette were done dating after a while. He had to get bored of her soon right? Especially a girl like Marinette, she wasn't even that interesting.
Kagami huffed, standing up and wiping away the streaks of mascara on her cheeks. She walked back to her limo and instructed her driver to take her home, there just had to be something she could do.
And when Adrien was with her he'd love that she did all this to bring them together. He'd hate Marinette and think she was a ugly selfish little brat! Kagami grabbed the vase in her room that used to belong to her father before he passed away.
She threw the vase at the wall, it shattered to pieces. Her blood boiling with anger as she was slowly driving herself insane. What had she done..? That was her fathers! She nearly dug her nails into her own skin, falling to her knees as she screamed.
It was Marinette.
Marinette did this to her and it was all her fault!
Kagami screamed and cried, pounding her fists on the floor. "I hate you!!!" She screeched, pounding harder as if the floor was Marinette's face. She stopped, her breath heavy as her mother walked into the room.
"Kagami... What have you done?"
