"Inmate 626! Report to General DeLonge's office at 0600."
Hayley rolled out of bed and got ready. She brushed her hair and teeth and put her uniform on. Putting her gun in its holster, she made her way to DeLonge's office.
"General," she greeted.
"Sergeant Williams," he replied. "I've got an important mission for you and four others. But first, I must tell you you're getting promoted."
"Thank you, sir."
"You're now SST Williams. Congratulations. Now, for the mission, I'll tell you when the others arrive. For now, just have a seat over there."
She nodded and sat where he pointed.
After twenty-one minutes, four men showed up.
"Now that you're all here," DeLonge began. "I'll explain the mission. But first, introductions."
"SGT Gerard Way."
"PVT Frank Iero."
"CPL Tre Cool."
"SST Hayley Williams."
"SGT Billie Joe Armstrong."
Gasps appeared around the room as Billie spoke.
I thought he was a Staff Sergeant, Hayley thought.
"Alright," DeLonge said. "Now I'll explain the mission."

"This is awesome!" Billie exclaimed at lunch. They were bound to leave at 2100 (9 pm), so they were able to get to know each other during the day.
"Hang on," Gerard interrupted. "I need two explanations: why is he now a Sergeant and she a Staff Sergeant?"
"I don't know why she did," Billie replied. "But I got demoted because I was locked up for a year and a half."
"I got promoted this morning," Hayley beamed. "I don't actually know why..."
"But who else is excited?" Billie asked, changing the subject.
"Eh, not really," Frank admitted. "I'm scared mostly."
"I agree with Armstrong actually," Gerard said. "I'm kind of excited, but I don't wanna lose my ass in the middle of time-traveling."
"So, Williams," Frank began. "Tell us about yourself."
"Okay, um, well I used to work at Barnes and Noble. That's how I met Gerard, actually. He's been by my side ever since. What about all of you?"
Billie went first. "Tre and I worked together for a while before this. Us and another friend...Mike." He and Tre looked at each other solemnly.
"You already know mine." Gerard winked at Hayley. "Except that me and my brother, Mikey, wrote comic books. We still do, over Skype."
"I was a guitar teacher," Frank said, proudly. "I taught kids and teens. It was so much fun."
"That's cool," Gerard commented. His eyes stared into Frank's. "But personally, teenagers scare the living shit out of me."
It was 1600 (4 pm) so everyone went to pack. Hayley walked with Billie.
"Thanks for saving me back there," he said. "Even though it ended up being totally pointless."
"Heh, once I learned who you were, I freaked out. I seriously almost had a heart attack," she laughed. "Like that was a real scare."
"Are you ready to lead this badass mission?"
