Faye's POV

Jaden had, begrudgingly, left Faye in the middle of their conversation when a boy walked past and pulled him by the arm, taking him away from the small girl.

So, there she was, alone standing barely a foot away from the door ready to leave at any moment.

"Faye!" She heard a muffled shout, "Faye!" Her head shot up, scouring the place to find the source.

Her eyes scanned the large room, settling on Lewis. He was stood in a large group of boys, who were all shouting equally as loud as he was.

"Faye!" He shouted again, gaining some attention from a few of the boys in the group. Lewis held his hand up and ushered her over, pointing her out to some of the boys as she walked through the crowd.

She let out a harsh breath, some of them were the boys she'd seen in the garden the day before but some were unfamiliar faces. They were all taller than her, as most people were, and all looked intimidating without meaning to.

"Boys, this is Faye: my girlfriends best friend" he explained, throwing his arm over her shoulder, accidentally knocking her drink in the process luckily not spilling a lot.

"Hey Faye, i'm Bryce" the boy that pulled Jaden away earlier introduced himself, smiling down at her. His voice was playful yet harsh, she could already tell he was a fighter, however assumed he'd be a laugh most of the time.

"Blake!" Another boy shouted over the music, smiling brightly at her, he seemed sweet.

"I'm Chase" the next boy told her, his eyes running up and down her body. Faye stepped closer into Lewis' side without meaning too, feeling naked under his scanning eyes.

"Nick" the next boy introduced himself as he swung his arm around Chase's neck laughing, his smile was as big as Blakes, if not larger. His hair was fluffy and the bright clothes he wore made her feel safe next to Chase's dark attire.

"And i'm Noah" the last boy introduced himself, smiling bright. He seemed sweet, and was extremely good looking.

"Faye" she told them, smiling brightly under their eyes, pinching her side sightly to keep her breathing steady. There was no reason for her to be worried, they seemed like nice boys.

"We were just trying to convince Lewis to jump from the balcony into the pool" Bryce explained to her, slurring slightly.

"And I was explaining how i'd do it if Bryce did too" Lewis told her, leaning forward slightly, "what do you think?"

"I think it's crazy how you even need convincing," she laugher, the other boys chuckled, "don't be a pussy, do it" she shrugged, looking into his eyes as she challenged him.

"Ha!" Bryce cut in, pointing his finger at Lewis.

"You too, Brycey boy" she smirked, spinning around to see the boys face drop.

"What!" He shouted as Lewis let out his own laugh.

"Come on, dude, lets just do it" he said, chugging his drink and walking towards the stairs.

"That boy is crazy" Bryce laughed, "I love it" he ran off after Lewis, presumably to show him the way.

"This is dangerous" Blake laughed, as the group waked to the back garden to watch the pool.

"What? The jump?" She asked, standing in front of the group so she could see clearly.

"No, their friendship" Blake explained, forcing a laugh from the girl.

"Wait until Lewis takes him on a two day trip to Alaska and buys a donkey," she says nonchalantly, remembering the trip Lewis had taken with his friend a few months before.

"What?" One of the boys asked, laughing slightly in question.

"Oh, don't worry" she shook her head, "he lost it after like three days" and although she was looking away she could feel the boys exchanging glances.

"They're going to be great friends,"Nick told her, laughing.

Faye looked back up to the balcony, seeing the two boys stood in their underwear, on the wrong side of the railings laughing at each other.

"What the fuck are they doing?" A voice asked, causing more people to come outside.

The boys looked at each other first, she saw Lewis' lips move as Bryces' eyes widened. Then Lewis started turning, holding onto the balcony tight until he was backwards, Faye saw Bryce start to talk, his eyes shocked, when all of a sudden Lewis jumped backwards, flipping half way down and miraculously making it into the pool.

Everybody screamed as he hit the water, getting louder as Bryce followed, flipping forward instead as Lewis shot out of the water laughing.

"Did Lewis just jump off of there?" Faye heard Lacey ask as she pushed some people out of the way, holding onto her shoulder.

"Yep"

"Fucking idiot" she shook her head, walking to the pool as Lewis turned, his face dropped for a second before returning to a smile.

"Hey babe" he smiled, making Bryce laugh loudly.

The hype of the boys jumping soon died down as they got out of the pool, and everybody returned to what they were doing. Faye stayed with the group of boys, a few other people joined including Lacey, Jaden and a blond girl who was stuck to his side.

"I'm Mads" she introduced herself, smiling brightly as Jaden kissed her head, they were cute.

"Faye" she smiled just as bright, "so are you dating Jaden?" she questioned as the boys started a separate conversation.

"No...we used to but now we're just friends" she told them, watching Fayes face contort, "don't worry you'll get used to everyone and all of the drama" she told her.

They kept talking for almost an hour until Faye needed to refill her drink.

She walked into the kitchen, not sure where anything was or who anybody was. Her thoughts suddenly drifted to all the people she had met tonight, although she couldn't keep her mind away from the boy who had invited her.

Josh.

She hadn't even seen him that night, like she had expected too, instead meeting many of his room mates instead.

Not that she was complaining, she didn't know him after all so why should she be worried about seeing him.

Faye shook her head, trying to rid herself of the thoughts as she went to the back yard, seeing a large group now where she once was sat.

"stop it, theres no need to fight" she heard a voice shout.

What had she missed?"
